Al Sharpton is right. America did vote for socialism. In fact, turning America into a socialist-fascist country is the only logical outcome of Obama's current policies. We can defeat the Democratic agenda by intelligent tactics, strategies and field execution.

What many in this new Conservative movement do not understand is this: In order to have credibility as a viable movement Tea Partyers and like-minded others must change the political dynamics.

Far right Conservatives do not have to compromise their principles in order to form alliances with like-minded others. Consequently, the enemy of my enemy is my friend and politics make strange bedfellows. The Tea Party Movement and all these new Conservative organizations will be looked upon as failing if they do not impact the debate and deliver political victories in 2010.

Many Americans do not realize, Obama's arrogance, defiance and indifference to public protest is based on a strategy. And believe it or not... it is a winning strategy. History is on his side and it is not because he is the first African American President. Every successful socialist and communist movement have succeeded during times of economic strife or uncertainty.

Let's examine some actualities and possibilities:

The Democratic Party already has 95% of the African American vote,
Most, if not all, of the union vote,
Most, if not all, of the liberal and far left votes,
Most, if not all, non-military government employee votes,
A respectable percentage of the youth vote,
A respectable percentage of the Hispanic vote,
A respectable percentage of "White" women,
A respectable percentage of "White" men, and finally,.....
A good percentage of the prison vote if current ideas relative to giving inmates voting privileges ever makes to the house and senate.

These figures are rough estimates and not gleaned from scientific polling, but I hope it gives you a basic picture of why Democratic leaders in the house and senate are behaving as they are. They really believe history and the political dynamics favor them. What Democratic strategist and analyst did not forsee was the Tea Party Movement, Conservative Societies for Action and others like it.

Party loyalist will vote for anybody on a political ticket. Consequently, the only votes Democrats cannot look forward to with any degree of certainty are Independents and moderate Democrats. Independents and moderate Democrats will determine whether America wins or loses in 2010. To sway Independents, Democratic strategist and their liberal media supporters really believe all they have to do is:

1. Mount an effective smear campaign against Republicans and Conservatives. And....
2. Effectively marginalize the Tea Party Movement and others like it.

Therefore, it is not necessary or beneficial to bicker over who has more conservative purity or what recent failure/s belong to the Republican Party. Right now, the Republican Party has the organizational structure to help every conservative movement and moderate Democrats slow down this socialist oriented train that is on a fast track to economic collapse. America will not recover financially like we did after Social Security and Medicare became the Law of the land.

The reason, America is no longer the industrial power or the lender nation it was in the past. Even though America is militarily stronger, the country is not economically stronger. Why? Our government owes too many people too much money and we face the prospect and necessity of borrowing billions more.

Therefore, in order to win, Americans who want to save our country must keep every Conservative and Republican vote, persuade the majority of Independents and eke away at the Democratic vote in key battleground states and districts. If Conservatives do not lose their poise and focus, America can win. Contrary to popular belief, 2010 is not a given.

To accomplish the objective - victory in 2010 - Every American that wants to save our country must effectively change the parameters of existing arguments and introduce new arguments that will put these people that want to fundamentally change America on the Defensive. The overwhelming majority of Americans do not fully comprehend what has happened and continuing to happen to them. Why? Many fail to realize, Conservatives and moderates do not control any major political argument/s, they are simply reacting and responding to liberal argument/s.

An argument can be described as any belief system or concept that requires a response, be it positive or negative, pro or con, for or against or with or without. Currently, the political left controls all the arguments, therefore, they control the responses. To end this control, Conservatives and others interesting in saving our country must present new arguments in order to control the responses.

Well you ask..how do is this done?

It is done by changing the parameters of the existing argument/s and presenting new arguments. This forces the opposition to respond to a different set of parameters. Consequently, Democrats and their supporters will have to defend policy positions from an entirely different perspective. This will prevent proponents and advocates from praising and spinning or proposing new policies or so-called "Fix It" legislation. As long as you are playing defense, your offense is effectively sidelined. The longer, you are forced to defend, the weaker your defenses become.

Thus, victory is achieved because your offense effectively weakens and exposes vulnerable areas in your opponent's defense and takes advantage of them. In the political game of life, you must have a good defense and a good offense. If either one is weak, you lose. For the past 40 years, Republicans, Conservatives and the rest of America have not had a strong defense or a strong offense.

As a result, the offensive and defensive strategies of the political left have run rings around the majority of people in this country. That's why they really believe they are smarter than the rest of us. Many Americans, including Conservatives, Republicans, many in the Tea Party Movement and this new Conservative movement have a difficult time understanding this. Hence, Barack Obama, the media, the Democrat Party, their supporters and liberals in general can easily dismiss your statements, protest, opposition and marginalize you quite easily.

Well... how can you change this?

Marginalize Obama. How? By using his statements against him and exposing him for what he really is... A demagogue.
Take the health care bill, attack it on the merits and present it intelligently to uninformed others.
Use the recent amendments proposed by the Republican delegation in the house and senate to your advantage.
Mesmerize the general public with astounding facts and undeniable truth.
Marginalize the main street media by exposing factually and undeniably their political bias.
Go on the offensive against the far left.
Go into the African American communities with undeniable evidence of the destruction the Democratic agenda has fostered on the African American community. We must never forget African Americans were once solid Republicans until the New Deal. Inform them of the true nature of the Democratic agenda and the legacy of over 1000 Republican African American legislators.
Remind African Americans that Frederick Douglas was the first African American that ran for a national political office, not Jessie Jackson. Booker T. Washington was a prominent figure in the Black Conservative Movement. There are more African American Republican legislators that have held public office than all the Democrats combined.
Begin, now today, planning tactics and strategies voting block by voting block, district by district.
Begin organizing effective ways to raise money for the campaigns ahead.
Actively seek out and find other conservative pockets and begin finding ways to improve communication on and off the Internet.
Stop bickering within your ranks. There are no perfect people. The past is dead. All of us must live in today's world while planning for our future.
Start analyzing Democratic and/or Liberal arguments and begin developing effective counters.

In addition....

Stop using the Equal Guilt Syndrome.., i.e, both sides have done it. Use the weight of the evidence instead. The weight of the evidence works like this. Johnny stole one apple. Billy stole a truck load. Even though they both stole apples who is more guilty? Johnny or Billy? Mark murdered his mother. Nicole did not stop for a red light. They both broke the law. Which crime is more severe? This strategy effectively ends the equal guilt analysis. Republicans left us 450 to 600 billion in debt after 8 years. The Democrats have over 1 trillion in debt in less than 2 years and still counting. Who did the most damage to our economy? Bush or Obama?

By allowing the left and the Democrats to use the equal guilt analysis without qualification or quantification, it keeps you weak and strengthens them because they can always point to the one apple you stole, while they continue stealing millions.

The weight of the evidence effectively changes the parameters of the argument, and puts them on the defensive. As long as they are defending, their offense is on the sidelines. Democrats cannot defend their thievery, abuse of process, their failed economic, social and educational programs, their failed policies and their outright lies. Next........

Start learning how to effectively counter the weaknesses of the Bush Administration so you can stop avoiding George Bush. Regardless of what you think of the man personally, respect him for his single-minded dedication to keeping this country safe after 9/11.

Finally, start going after advertisers and manufacturers that advertise on major media outlets. The reasons for our interest are double standards, engaging in misinformation and promoting physical violence against an American President. Exposing the main stream media to their revenue source will force them into more balanced coverage or we boycott their products or services. Nothing hurts a business like losing money.

This battle to save America must be waged on all fronts simultaneously and at every conceivable intellectual, economic, social and legal level. It is best the RNC concentrate on the politics and the overall political strategy.

Have We Been Scammed?

Did Barak Obama and the Democratically controlled congress initiate the greatest scam since human beings organized themselves into kingdoms and countries?

After hearing reporters and commentators on the various networks, reading blog entries on the Internet and various editorials from newspapers across America, it is all to obvious.

Very few, if any, media personnel that have the responsibility of giving the public verifiable information, are doing his/her/their job. Is it possible that the Democratically controlled U.S. House of Representatives, Senate and President Barak Obama are lying to us and misleading us?

No one has addressed this issue. Is the recently passed health care bill by the democratically controlled United States Senate, House of Representatives and being sold by President Barak Obama, a classic scam? Is it possible that no one is really scrutinizing our so-called congressional leadership because these people are democrats and Barak Obama is African American?

Giving the public misleading information and lying are the same. If any information given to the public is not true, it is a lie regardless of who is saying it, repeating it, reporting it or commenting on it. If information cannot be validated, independently of the source, it should not be reported as factual. If there is conflicting information, both sides of the issue should be heard. At least Fox News makes an attempt to be fair and balanced.

America is not some communist, totalitarian, socialist or fascist country, or a dictatorial regime or a "Banana Republic", at least not yet. All this was written to make these observations about the so-called health care debate that led to the health care bill and a supposedly massive restructuring of America's health care delivery systems.

The democrats seem to be very fond of repeating and identifying the horrors of America's so-called broken health care system. This broken system, according to democrats and their leadership is producing thousands of dead people annually because they did not have access to health care. Is this true? Where are the facts to verify these statements?

Secondly, what is the source of this information? It seems no news organization bothered to ask. The President said, he received letters from thousands of people about their medical horror stories, but, he has only mentioned one or two...and I know of only one that has been factually verified by Fox News. This number of 32,000,000 Americans without health insurance.... wait a minute....isn't there a difference between health care and health insurance? Again, nothing I have seen or read challenged the difference between the two.

The next issue that was poorly covered in the health care debate is denied coverage. How many people have been denied coverage because of pre-existing conditions? .... And... how does this number of denials compare to all the people that have a health insurance policy? Does having a health insurance policy translate into health care coverage? Or... can health care be received without having an insurance policy?

Has anyone bothered in the media to check out these statements to give us, the general public, the facts regarding these statements by democrats and the President? Or....Is the main stream media indirectly and unknowingly participating in and supporting this scam? Not even Fox News, the number one rated news service, bothered to question democrats or the President about their statements and their source/s of information relative to these horror medical stories. These statements might be coming from political operatives. They might even be vastly overstated and there is always the possibility that there might be other reasons for these so-called medical horror stories that have nothing to do with insurance companies.

What else did the news media fail to question the democrats and the President about?

1. How many people were actually dropped by insurance companies after becoming sick?
2. How many people actually lost their homes because of medical bills?
3. What is the primary reason why the cost of health care is escalating?
4. How can you save a dollar and spend it at the same time?
5. Can financial figures from the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) be manipulated to produce a politically pleasing result?
6. Can CBO numbers be verified or reviewed independently of Congress or must we rely solely on this so-called bi-partisan government agency?
7. Is there a better way to solve America's health care problems without costing trillions of dollars?
8. Can the government legally penalize someone if he/she fails to buy health insurance?
9. Can the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) really and legally be authorized to monitor and investigate American citizens as it relates to health care insurance?
10. Do people really come to emergency rooms for health care or for medical treatment?
11. Does having a national health care system translate into higher productivity, increased innovation and opportunity like the democrats are telling us?
12. Is being a woman a pre-existing condition that would facilitate denial of insurance coverage? {Gleaned from Nancy Pelosi's statement)
13. Can an Executive Order written by the President supersede statutory federal law?
14. Is there a loophole in the health care bill that would allow for abortion? And...if this loophole does not exist, why would President Obama need to sign an Executive Order?
15. Was Bart Stupak sincere? ....Are was he and his group holding out for a similar "Cornhusker Kickback" and when it could not happen, sought political cover from the President?

If these questions were asked and answered, were the answers verified independently of the source? These are just a few of the questions I have not read or seen on any major or minor media outlet. If these questions are not asked and the answers verified by an investigation into them, can we assume the "Fix" is in?

And...we, the American people, are about to be scammed out of trillions of dollars for a health care bill, that we just....might not need...in its current form? Somebody somewhere is going to reap huge benefits from this health care bill and I can literally guarantee, it is not going to be the overwhelming majority of the American people.

The Dimwits & Clowns In Washington DC & The Barons Of Greed Are At It Again

When is the America public going to learn you can't trust dimwitted politicians, the "Barons of Greed" and you definitely can't trust the Democratic Party. America doesn't have a health care problem. America has an income problem, moral problems, leadership problems, integrity problems and whole lot more.

The problem being debated is not medical care, which is what the average die-in-the-woodwork democratic supporter will never really understand, because of sawdust for brains.

Who created the overwhelming majority of problems in America's health care system? The Democratic Party and their supporters. Therefore, this health care debate, if you can call it that, is another fraud and scam being inflicted on the America public, by the usual suspects, the dimwits and clowns in Washington, DC, the Democratic Party, their liberal socioeconomic supporters and whatever Republican/s they can scrounge up or intimidate into voting for this farce called "health care reform". The real health care coverage debate involves "who gets paid", "how much he/she/they/it gets paid" and how fast the dimwits in the Senate and the House of Representatives can send you - the taxpayer - the bill. There are none so blind as those that will not see.

When is America and perhaps the rest of the civilized world going to realize President Barack Obama is a Con, a closet socialist and a "Front" man. The Democratic Party and the rest of liberal America cannot soothe their guilty conscious with President Barack Obama. The progressives (socialists and borderline communists) will bring absolute destruction to America. They (the Democratic Party and their liberal supporters) really believe by fronting an African American in the White House, they can conveniently hide behind his faked leadership, while they (the Democratic Party and their supporters) bring down America and the rest of the civilized world. Can you imagine the Taliban running things around here?

The threat of "Black Folk" rioting in the streets, (if we speak out to strongly against Obama's faked leadership and socialism) because of America's large African American population, will not cut any mustard here. The current Democratic Leadership is a dangerous bunch. No more or less dangerous than the Nazi Party in Germany and the Fascists in Italy. They (the Democratic Party and their supporters) hope to hide behind the Con Man - Barack Obama - while they (the Democratic Party and their supporters) bleed the last ounce of financial blood out of the America people with their ill conceived and ill timed health care overhaul or should I say transfer of wealth. Socialism, in modern times, has survived around the world because America (the home of shop til you drop) has survived. When America is no more, the real, ugly, nasty and deadly face of socialism will be revealed for what it really is - the scourge of humanity.

The "Greed Barons" on Wall Street still have not learned, phony money is phony money. The American economy cannot sustain a dow above 10,000, just like it could not and did not sustain a dow above 14,000. The "Bail-out Money" is just that - a "bail out" not a license to return to business as usual, that is bidding up the value of worthless paper. America's economy is on life support and the light bill is due. What does this mean? It means, there is no money to pay the bill. So what happens to your life support system when the electricity is turned off and the backup generators are out of gas? You die. America's death knell is sounding louder and louder and getting closer and closer. How did we, the America people, elect so many clowns, dimwits, knuckleheads and outright liars and deceivers to public office?

President Obama was swept into office and the Democratic Party was given a majority in the U.S. Congress on a tidal wave of false promises and lies. Obama is no more or less than a Glorious and Sensational Liar. America's disenchantment over the War in Iraq, put the wrong people in office at the wrong time in history. The Obama Administration has no intention of saving Constitutional America.

The goal of the Obama Administration, the Democratic Party, the liberal left and their liberal socio-economic supporters is a Socialist America. President Obama is basically a socialist. Socialism contradicts "Free Enterprise" Capitalism. As America moves closer to socialism, the more America will decline. Socialism as a governing philosophy is stagnant because of the moral hazards socialism produces.

The overwhelming majority of Democrats are socialist and borderline communist. They are afflicted with the belief that they know better than you, and therefore, should control ever aspect of your life. Government is the tool by which they hope to accomplish their objective. Consequently, The Democratic Party, the liberal left and their socio-economic supporters have no choice but to lie to the American people and camouflage their lies with thin veneers of truth.

The vast majority of the voting public does not have enough political sophistication to separate lies from truth. In fact, the overwhelming majority prefers lies to truth and government checks to productive effort. Obama and the Democrats lied when they said they would continue America's fight against terrorism. They lied when they said they were ushering in an era of change. They lied when they said their so-called economic investment and recovery program was free of non-essential items.

America will pay a dear price for the hatred and disrespect the political left had for former President Bush. Naturally, the political left will not admit or own up to anything. Nature will exact her price independent of one's political belief, education, social status, perceived or real power, personal philosophy or ignorance of natural laws. These people are largely perverted with a warp and twisted sense of truth and reality. America will pay for its shortsightedness and unfounded fascination with their own selfish desires and aspirations.

Exposing the 700 Billion Dollar Bail Out Myth

Our gutless politicians and the "Barons of Greed" (Wall Street styled Banking and Investment Firms) need to tell the American people the truth and end the deception. This so-called 700 billion dollar bail out is just another gimmick.

In fact, it is the lastest political and economic gimmick the political and financial establishment have tossed our way. The American political and financial establishments have been feeding the American people a steady diet of lies for so many years, lies seem like the truth and the truth seem like lies.

The "Big Lie" #1 is the American economy is not in trouble. The American economy has been in trouble for years. The reason why it does not seem so dire is because fully two-thirds of this economy is based on consumer spending. When the American public stops shopping til they drop the economy heads downward.

For years the nation managed to survive because the rest of the world was still recovering from the financail devastation of World War II. Germany, France, England, Japan, China, Korea, Italy, the rest of Europe and the remaining nations that were impacted by European madnes have fully recovered. America's wars have largely kept the nation's economy humming over the past few years.

The "Big Lie" #2 is the global economy has been beneficial to this country. America has enjoyed a low birth rate for a number of years and so has Europe and England. This low birth rate gives our financial and political establishment the illusion that plenty of jobs are available stateside. This insane belief that the economy is growing enough to accomodate the increasing demand for employment has led many American companies to ship jobs and factories overseas. They believe the myth and lie this will make American products more competitive. Nothing is farther from the truth.

The "Big Lie" #3 is the fundamentals of the economy are strong. "Doggie Poop". The fundamentals of our economy have never been weaker. Our steadily weakening economy will eventually collapse the world's stock markets . The reason: America is the dumping ground for the world's gizmos, gadgets and illegal drugs. No other country on this planet has over 250 million thoroughly conditioned "limp-brained" consumers.

The "Big Lie" #4 is China will eventually open its huge population base to American products. Another pile of "Doggie Poop". China is simply waiting us out and our greedy short-sighted financial and political leadership. In the end, China will win the test of wills. China is now the manufacturing center of the planet and they are not going to give up their new found status easily.

The "Big Lie" #5 is education will save us. This would be true if America were the only country on the planet. The America that help win World War I and World II no longer exist. The American population that built this country is virtually extinct. What remains are millions of light headed, educated, functional dimwits that really believe because they are articulate, can think a little bit and have college degrees that they are intelligent. The entire world already knows the average American is an idiot.

The "Big Lie" #6 is the American Spirit will pull us through this. Where is my "Doggie Pooper Scooper"? It's beginning to pile up all over this post. Whatever American Spirit that existed when Bill Clinton became President was throughly destroyed by the time he left office. Whenever a politician says, "I trust the American people", find the nearest commode and regurgitate your food in it. Whatever politician or political leader that repeats this lie, already knows if the American people could really be trusted, he/she would have been voted out of office years before. If our voting public really could be trusted, Washington DC would be empty and the vast majority of our state and local legislators would be in jail for graft and corruption. It's precisely because the voting public cannot be trusted is the primary reason why our political and financial establishment is the way it is and the country is in the sorry shape it is in.

The "Big Lie" #7, this government proposed "Bail Out Plan" will prevent an economic meltdown. Let's just say this, the day of reckoning will be postponed, but not prevented. This post is not big enough to examine over 200 years of lies spewed from the mouths of our political establishment. If you are one of the intelligent Americans left in the country, you will quickly and easily add to this list of lies.

Why Doesn't Washington Come Clean?

The current turmoil in financial markets and the sub-prime mortgage debacle are only the beginning of America's woes and sorrows. Washington needs to come clean with the American people.

We need to know what they have done to our industries and our national wealth. The business community is just as guilty as our worthless politicians. Never before in world history has a free people been so thoroughly deceived by their elected representatives.

America's stocks are over priced and stock values are being artifically manipulated to satisfy institutional investors such as local and state governments. Our nation is drowning in debt and it is just a matter of time before our national lungs run out of air.

Why doesn't Washington come clean and tell us the truth? An economic crash is coming that will make the "Great Depression" seem like a picnic by comparison. Unlike past "Recessions" and the "Depression", America no longer has the inherent growth potential that could bring us out of major economic calamity. The world today is far more competitive than it was 70 years ago and even 30 years ago.

What is needed now is intelligent leadership and we are not going to get it from Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, John Edwards, Rudy Guiliani, Mitt Romney or any current candidate running for President. All these people are part of the problem. As a matter of fact, we are definitely not going to get intelligent leadership from the Republican, Democratic or Libertarian Political Parties.

Will The Real Muslims Please Stand Up

The recent events in the Sudan, should be a warning to every liberal that believes Islam is another benign peaceful religion. If the behavior we in the West are seeing is not characteristic of true Muslims, "Will the real Muslims please stand up." And I'm not talking about Muslims living in Western Democracies. These people are Muslims in name and custom only.

For those of you that missed it, the following is a recap of the Associated Press article.

Gillian Gibbons, a British teacher, is being threatened with execution and 40 lashes for allowing her students to bestow the name Muhammad on a class teddy bear.

Several thousand Sudanese protested in central Khartoum on Friday against the teacher. Banners demanded "Punishment, Punishment, Punishment," as protesters chanted, "Kill her! Kill her by firing squad!" Gibbons, who was sentenced on Thursday (November 29, 2007) to 15 days in jail and deportation, was taken from her prison to a secret location to ensure her safety.

A Gathering Of "Fools"

On September 30, 2007, a large convention of atheist gathered in Virginia to proclaim their eagerness that GOD does not exist. What a gathering of fools. It never ceases to amaze me how so many well educated and intelligent people can so easily become "FOOLS". For it is written: "The fool says in his heart, there is no GOD. They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good." Psa 14:1 (NIV)

Personally, I don't need to add my comments, "Biblical Scriptures" say it much more emphatically and forcefully than I ever could when it comes to this perverse generation. Because it is also written: "The wrath of GOD is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about GOD is plain to them."

"Fund Managers", "Stock Brokers" and "Wall Street Bankers" have been toying with the idea of pushing the "Dow Jones Industrial Average" above the 14,000 mark. These people obviously don't realize the world has entered a new Socio-Economic Era that can not support manufactured money for long.

The Federal Reserve needs to pull the plug on this wild speculation before it damages the economy and sends the entire "Western World" into an economic tailspin that it might not recover from for decades.

"Global Socio-Economic Interaction" is much more volatile and unpredictable than most "Economist", "Fund Managers", "Stock Brokers" and "Wall Street Bankers" realize. This intentional effort to keep inflating the price of already overpriced stocks and mutual funds will drive our economy and our nation into economic disaster.

America does not have enough internal industrial capacity to support a Dow Jones over 10,000, let alone 14,000 and relying on foreigners to support our irrational and irresponsible economic behavior is sheer madness. This country has been surviving for 20 years on borrowed time, low birth rates, borrowed money and by stealing money from the public in the form of billions of dollars in hidden taxes and fees.

Unlike the "Great Depression", the room for future economic growth and expansion will not be there. The world today is much more competitive and despite all the diplomatic pleasantries, Western and Eastern Europe, Great Britain, the Arabs, the Japanese, all of South America, Canada and the rest of the industrialized world no longer trust this country. The Russians definitely don't trust us and the Jihadist can't stand us. The Chinese are simply using us because our short-sighted and money-hungry corporate and government leaders have shown them we; as a nation, no longer have credible values, morals or ethics.

Our citizenry is more decadent, backward and functionally illiterate than during the "Cold War". The Democrats and the "Liberal Left" are a frightening bunch of socialist and the Republicans are greedy, self-centered unilateralist. The world will not let us plunder their resources like we have been doing since the end of World War II. The vast majority of the nations on this planet have largely recovered from the devastation of that war and competition for available natural resources and technological advantages will be immense.

The war against "Islamic Extremist" is costing us billions in borrowed money and even as big as America's economy is, there is a limit to the amount of money we can borrow. These debts must be repaid. If this country defaults on its debts, and it will, the rest of the industrialized world will feel the impact. Because the average American is a mindless consumer, when these millions of Americans can no longer "shop til they drop", major economies around the world will go into economic decline. The "European Common Market" will recover, but America won't.

Since more and more nations are capable of looking out for themselves, more countries will opt to invest in "Common Market" countries than in America. America's only edge right now is our superiority in weapons technology. At the rate the Chinese are growing and developing, we won't have this advantage for long. Heaven forbid, if they should ever decide to flex their economic muscle and demand payment on some of their loans.

Therefore, "Fund Managers", "Stock Brokers" and "Wall Street Bankers" should be very cautious about bidding up the price of stocks and mutual funds so they can line their pockets with the people's money. The worst thing our politicians ever did, was to allow the "Barons of Greed" to get their hands on the people's hard earned retirement money. Well..that's "par for the course" isn't it? Afterall, we do have the best group of political scoundrels money can buy.

Over Eating

There is little doubt that many Americans are over weight. The weight loss industry rakes in billions annually on programs and products that work for the few and not the many. Perhaps what most Americans need to do is turn off the television. A recent study done by Dr. Alan Hirsch found a connection between watching televsion and people's eating habits.

According to Dr. Hirsch, in an article written by Jennifer Kwan for Reuters, "people eat more when they are glued to the television." The more entertaining the program, the more they eat. "It seems that distracted brains do not notice what the mouth is doing", said Dr. Alan Hirsch, neurological director of the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in Chicago.

Hirsch explored the impact of smell, taste and eating behaviors while watching TV by measuring potato chip consumption.

Forty-five volunteers ate as many chips as they wanted during five-minute intervals over three-week periods while they watched monologues by late-night talk show hosts David Letterman and Jay Leno.

They also were given chips to eat when the television was off.

Hirsch found people ate an average of 44 percent more chips while watching Letterman and 42 percent more while viewing Leno, than when they did not watch TV.

"If you can concentrate on how the food tastes, you'll eat less because you'll feel full faster," Hirsch said in an interview at the Endocrine Society's annual meeting in Toronto, Canada.

"So if that's the case, let's look at the opposite. What if you're distracted? If you're distracted, in theory, then you'd eat more."

Through his research at the foundation, Hirsch has helped people overcome the loss of sense and taste sensation, which typically results in weight gain because the brain does not know when it should stop eating.

The ventromedial nucleus in the hypothalamus, where the so-called satiety center is located, tells the body whether it is hungry or full. If it is inhibited or tricked, the result can be changes in eating patterns, he said.

"People who cook spaghetti all day don't feel like eating spaghetti at the end of the day," said Hirsch. "By being exposed to a smell all day long it's tricking the hypothalamus."

At each session, volunteers were asked to concentrate on the sensory characteristics of the food such as taste and smell. Researchers say these sensory clues, in addition to internal body changes, signal satiety.

But when distracted, a person does not pay attention to either the body's sensations of feeling full, or to the sensory characteristics of the food.

Many studies have linked obesity to watching television and that link is likely due to inactivity, Hirsch said. But perhaps entertaining shows are also contributing. Dr. Hirsch concluded, "if you want to lose weight, turn off the television or watch something boring".

President Bush, Now Is The Time To Be A Leader

Many in the media, the political and radical left, the ultra and moderate right; as well as President Bush's most vocal detractors have accused him of "Failed Leadership". From where I sit, President Bush has not led this nation since he was elected.

Bill Clinton wasn't a leader and neither is Hillary. Well, you say..Bill Clinton is still very popular...so was Adolf Hitler. In fact, only one of the current group of presidential candidates, has shown any real leadership ability..and that's Rudy Giuliani.

These 3 actualities are very obvious:

1. Managing government is a failed strategy.
2. The President's advisors and political cronies have failed him.
3. His standing in public opinion polls has no where to go but up.

Therefore, the timing is right for President Bush to become our national leader by words, deeds, actions and activities. He must take charge of every aspect of his administration and become the point man on all the major issues confronting America.

Before we can begin to understand why managing government is not leadership, it will be necessary to define what is meant by lead. Lead means to show the way, by going along with or in front of, or to guide. From this definition, we can deduce that a leader is someone who has taken the responsibility to show us the way or to guide us. Management is simply organizing and monitoring activity. Leadership is directing activity.

George W. Bush was elected President by a democratic process. Therefore, he has a duty, an obligation and a responsibility to lead America, not manage government. Underlings can do that. Leadership requires courage and instinct, and by it's very nature must be in some direction or toward the accomplishment of something. That something America is being led toward must be clearly defined and simply stated because this becomes the goal to be reached, the objective to be accomplished or the destination we are suppose to arrive at.

Once the goal has been defined and stated, President Bush, as our leader, must decide on a plan of action or set a course or direction that will reach the goal, accomplish the desired objective or get us to our destination. If it is determined that a course of action has failed or is failing to reach a desired objective, as America's leader, the President must be ready to change course and personnel if needed. Misguided loyalties can be devastating.

Now that we understand the nature of leadership, we can ask ourselves some questions: Where has President Bush's past and present management taken us? What has he really accomplished with it?...and if he has not accomplished anything, we need to know why? In addition, what has been the result of his administration's management philosophy? Is America better off, the same or worse?

It is time for President Bush to take the helm of the ship of state. It is obvious his captains can not read the political charts. When management fails, it is time to lead.

Are America's Government Leaders Mentally Fit To Serve?

A widely accepted definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Political polarization has never worked at any time in world history.

When the political process becomes polarized, gridlock results and the legislative process becomes stagnant and ineffective. Differences as to methods, policies, priorities and procedural implementation are acceptable among any sane and rational group of people.

However, when differences in the essential elements of the legislative process paralyzes, inhibits or prohibits government to act in the best interest of it's citizens, then those elected representatives are no longer acting with reason or rationality. Whenever elected representatives can not compromise or engage in open and honest debate concerning the needs of a nation, these people are exhibiting characteristics of mental illness, not mental fitness.

If an individual or a group of individuals put politics above citizenship or their personal interest above the national interest, we are looking at people that are not fit to hold public office. These people should be voted out of office or thrown out of office at the earliest opportunity.

The Next Level Of Municipal Leadership

The world's collective political and socio-economic experience is still firmly rooted in Western ideologies that began their evolution during the 14th Century and has continued until the present day. I believe the Modern Industrial Era will also conclude with economic decline and deadly diseases that will ravish the human population.

The emergence of Global Economic Interaction and high tech industrial capacity have rendered current political and socio-economic problem solving strategies obsolete. Any political or economic strategy that does not incorporate Global Economic interaction as its guiding principle is doomed to fail.

Past economic transitions were primarily single staged or dual staged, national or continental in their impact and scope. This new transition is multi-staged and global. Therefore, little or no empirical data exist that can accurately measure its effect on socio-economic or political systems. A global socio-economic transition of this magnitude has never occurred before in world history. Therefore, theorems must be discovered and developed, before they can be taught to others.

Political leaders and socio-economic planners who do not understand or realize the implications of Global Economic Interaction, could be promoting solution concepts and strategies that might have devastating long term consequences if they were enacted.

Major psychological and philosophical changes must be made in order to incorporate this new socio-economic development into our reality systems. Monumental intellectual adjustments must take place similar to one that had to occur when science proved the world is round; instead of flat.

"Flat Earth" conceptualizations immediately became obsolete. The same is true for socio-economic concepts developed during the Modern Industrial Era. The evidence is overwhelming that most municipal leaders are trying to solve multi-dimensional problems with antique solution strategies.

These strategies and concepts are based on the accumulated knowledge and experience of the past 600 years. They are hopelessly inadequate and powerless to deal with 21st Century socio-economic reality. Many municipal leaders do not realize 21st Century problems can not be solved with 19th or 20th Century strategies.

These problems require the development of a much more advanced socio-economic solution concept that is based on 21st Century Global Economic Interaction. Any attempt to ignore or diminish the importance of Global Economic Interaction will lead to disaster.

Therefore, in order to avoid certain catastrophy, municipal leaders must reach the next level of leadership; which is governing in the Age of Global Economic Interaction. This kind of interaction creates multi-dimensional problems that will defy traditional problem solving approaches and solution concepts. Integrated solutions are required to solve multi-dimensional problems.

Before integrated solution concepts can be developed and implemented, a transition must be made from passive, dictatorial or intrusive government to activist or cooperative government. This is the only way obsolete linear solution strategies can be replaced with multi-dimensional program solutions.

Different data gathering techniques must be used to accumulate more relevant information for problem solving purposes. Too many lives are at stake to do otherwise. Our cities and towns are on the verge of becoming battle grounds because most municipal leaders do not realize the traditional relationship between government, the people and the environment has changed.

Millions of dollars are currently being wasted on out dated program concepts that will not effect long term solutions. In fact, using obsolete concepts will actually aggravate socio-economic problems. In order to develop permanent cost effective solution concepts, municipal leaders must plug the entire community into the decision making process. Greater community involvement and participation is the most effective way to develop integrated or holistic solution strategies.

Dynamic Citizenship is necessary in order to build an organizational structure entire communities can work within effectively. It is virtually impossible to create, implement and manage integrated solution strategies without effective community organization. Initiating this process will create an active municipal government that is far more responsive and sensitive to community needs.

Mastering this process is the key that unlocks the door to the next level of municipal leadership. Integrated Socio-economics is a concept that best describes the cooperative relationhip between government, private enterprise and the community. In the Age of Global Economic Interaction and high tech industrial capacity, this holistic approach to solving municipal problems is the only long term solution strategy that will work.

By using holistic or integrated problem solving strategies, municipal leaders can establish the means by which more people can take advantage of wealth creation systems, increase overall productivity, stimulate their local economy, increase income for minority or impoverished residents, and develop cyclic revenue systems. With these strategies, individuals either alone, or collectively in groups, can acquire or create new businesses and opportunities where none currently exist.

Recycling revenue; combined with, cooperation from citizens, non government institutions, community action groups, associations, labor unions, the state legislature and the business community can dramatically reduce the need for Federal programs and/or subsidies.

Since this relationship is not static, it will be much more dynamic and effective. Once the unemployment problem has been addressed, the same coalition can tackle much more complicated social issues. Such problems as health care cost, crime prevention, substance abuse, infrastructure deterioration and reducing welfare expeditures can be handled far more efficiently and cost effectively through local coalitions than by cumbersome Federal bureaucracies.

Businesses, government and the community working together in harmony is the cornerstone of Integrated Socio-economics. Residents in America's towns and cities must stop looking to the Federal government to solve their municipal problems. In many instances, the human resource potential in each municipality has yet to be tapped. Through effective human resource utilization and management, people with limited or no business or marketing skills can be shown how to earn money, position income producing enterprises and use wealth creation strategies.

Integrated Socio-economics offers the best possible concept for resurrecting impoverished minority communities. Many of the nation's leading economist and financial experts are still bogged down in obsolete economic policies and concepts; which are hopelessly inadequate to deal with Global Economic Interaction. There is nothing in their backgrounds or education that could have prepared them for the Global Economic Age.

The institutions they have been apart of for years are slowly disintegrating before their eyes and they are having difficulty preventing further decline. Most economist do not yet understand the nature of the problems society is facing. Federal policies designed to stimulate the economy out of recession will have little or no impact in small to mid-sized towns and cities.

Pork barrel politicking at the state and/or national level, diverts available financial resources into areas and localities that benefit a small select group of people. Communites needing help the most, may never see any real financial aid. Well entrenched special interest can suck millions of dollars out of treasuries to benefit narrowly defined interests.

These interests may have nothing to do with real municipal needs. Many legislators do not have the political will to end PAC influence. Pleading to them is a waste of time. A small group of people can now manipulate world security markets and currency markets. Traditional economic indicators are no longer reliable. Economic decline is much worse than we imagine.

Therefore, community wide cyclic wealth creating systems must be developed. Most ethnic and racial groups have grown impatient with waiting for economic parity and equal opportunity in America's municipalities. There is no way to address this issue with out restructuring wealth creation and educating miniority communities.

In order to correct this problem, more citizens must get involved and participate in the solution seeking process. Coming together and working together is the only way we; as citizens, can save our communities and salvage a future for our children. Community involvement and participation is the essence of the next level citizenship.

Other basic community issues like education, crime prevention, unemployment, reducing the welfare roles and increasing individually and collectively overall community wealth, can all be addressed; if and when, the citizenry sincerely desires a solution.

The ultimate goal of Integrated Socioeconomics is to empower and encourage ordinary people to develop plans and methods to solve common community problems. It is the only solution concept that will involve the entire community.

Alternative strategies and concepts must be utilized and organized into a comprehensive systematic approach. Integrated Socio-economics combined with Dynamic Citizenship is the next level of community development.

Just as governing in a Global Economic environment is the next level of government leadership, living and working in a Global Economic environment is the next level of community development.

As citizens, we must hold ourselves and those we select and elect to lead us accountable for their actions or lack of action. We can not relinquish our responsibilities to our communities and our fellow citizens. We are each other's keeper. Therefore, in order to reclaim our communities and our children, we must embark, take bold action and break new ground in an old area, community development.

Illegal Immigrants Causing Major U.S. Hospital Crisis

One border state alone spent $700 million last year to medically treat illegal immigrants and a high-ranking hospital official says the toll is causing a meltdown of the state’s healthcare system. U.S. taxpayers have for years financed the exorbitant cost of medically treating illegal immigrants.

In the last few years, it has transformed into a crisis that has forced many hospitals in borders states to actually close.

This week, outraged California lawmakers provided details illustrating the situation’s severity as they fought a congressional proposal that would drastically cut federal reimbursement for the healthcare of illegal immigrants in their state.

The mostly Democratic group said almost half of California hospitals are operating in the red and provided specific documentation of how the state’s 430 facilities spent $700 million to treat illegal immigrants in 2006. The burden is deeply affecting Americans who may need emergency or urgent medical care and must travel further to find it.

Even though federal law mandates that hospitals must provide emergency medical treatment to illegal immigrants, the government only partially reimburses them. California only got $73 million to cover that astronomical $700 million bill last year and now the House Appropriations Committee, which is responsible for the federal budget, wants to further cut the reimbursement rate.

Many other states are in the same predicament and bipartisan lawmakers are aggressively fighting the new budget proposals that would further diminish the government’s reimbursement for providing free medical care to illegal immigrants.

Is Imus The Victim Of A Double Standard?

Whenever a media personality is canned for his/her remarks or views, the old arguments resurface. You know the routine. Haul out the usual suspects and unfurl the banners. In Imus' case the usual culprits are his free speech, his personal freedom, accusations of racism, political insensitivity, morality and our decadent culture.

Just like Imus has the privilege to speak his mind and select his language, other people have the privilege not to listen or criticize him for his remarks. The problem with the vast majority is that few, if any, people on earth really understand what freedom means. Far too many have this infantile notion and opinion that freedom means doing or saying anything one pleases. This is not freedom. This is arrogance, anarchy, chaos, ignorance, license and stupidity of the most vile, corrupt and dangerous kind.

Freedom carries with it awesome responsibilities, the likes of which few are even capable of understanding. That's precisely why no one on the planet is free. No modern government will ever allow true freedom to flourish because there are too many educated fools and far too many idiots to contend with.

GOD (YHVH) grants rights. What we mistakenly call freedoms and rights are only privileges granted by the society in which we find ourselves living. Some societies have more, some have less and some have whatever their dictatorial government allows. Whenever a society's granted privileges are abused, the violator should have his/her privileges revoked. This brings me to the reason for this article.

Everywhere we look and turn there are double standards and a double standard has Imus in its grips. Imus can now claim victim status. What happened to Imus never should have happened. If we are going to hold him to a standard, then Rappers, MTV, Satellite Radio, Cable, HBO and the other "Shock Jocks" should be held to the same standard. This also includes the companies that harbor and support these known abusers.

The most popular Rappers in the African American community are far more abusive of African American women than Don Imus ever was. However, hauling "Black Folk" on to the carpet for their societal and moral indiscretions is unthinkable. Hauling "Latinos" on to the carpet for violating our national sovereignty by entering our country illegally is also unthinkable. The reason: These issues are too politically sensitive for politicians and political parties to touch. Holding these communities to the same standards as every other ethnic group in America is synonymous to committing political suicide.

Imus should have been canned years ago. However, in Don's defense, he was an equal opportunity "Shock Jock". At least he distributed his poison equally. Through his callous eyes and to his acid ladened tongue, every group was fair game. No group escaped his scathing barbs. Even Howard Dean was charcoal broiled, toasted and roasted on his talk show. What triggered this backlash was the Rutgers basketball team was a beloved underdog that lost to the Goliath of NCAA women's basketball - Tennessee. America's sentiment is always with the little Davids in any battle against a Goliath.

Imus failed to understand the atmosphere that his remarks entered into. This was his first mistake. His second mistake was failing to realize the 2008 election is already in high gear. It's unfortunate, but he was a convenient icon for the "Politically Correct" far left wing of the Democratic Party to throw under the bus as a symbol of their belief in social values. Since Imus' wounds were self inflicted, there is no need to rally around him or feel guilty about his sudden demise.

The "Liberal Left" had to bite the bullet and let one of their own be the sacrificial lamb. If the far left is going to have any hope of winning the 2008 Presidential election and firmly entrenching themselves in government, they had to demonstrate some conservative value in a tangible way. Imus simply gave them the rope and the gallows to hang himself...and they took advantage of it. Every other abuser is off the table and off the hook for now.

Imus' remarks were far from racist. Insensitive perhaps, but not racist. Outlandish maybe, but not racist. So, how did this man who is not a known racist end up being the catalyst for a new dialog on racism? The media. Will such a dialog follow? Hardly. Why? There are bigger fish to fry and a new discussion about America's racial attitudes is not on the agenda.

The War in Iraqi, "Radical Islam" and the eventual socialization of America are far more important issues. However, I could be wrong. The far left is full of deception and deceit. Playing to the masses, lies and treachery have been their calling card for years. To further their cause and agenda, there is no telling what these people might do or when they might do it.

GOD Vs Western Culture

This article is a response to an email I received from one of my readers. In her email, she accused me of being biased against Western Culture. I am not biased against Western Culture.

I am just not into propaganda, not even America's. It's a sad bunch of folks that believe their own lies or historical renditions.

In addition, if any student of history is genuinely interested in historical accuracy; rather than propaganda, he/she will discover everything I will state in this article is absolutely true and can be proven by anyone.

GOD (YHVH) is the real power in the universe, and he is the real mover and shaker on planet earth, not us. Western Culture benefited from the influence of Judeo-Christianity not because we were better or more advanced than any other, we benefited by default because the ancient Asians, Africans and the people in the Middle East basically rejected Judeo-Christianity. Under Judeo-Christian influence Western Civilization was able to advance in all the areas that really mattered.

Let's not forget, Christianity and Judaism survived, despite all the attempts by ancient rulers to wipe them out. Let's also not overlook the fact that the "Black Plague" wiped out over 1/3 of Europe's population. No major world power attacked Europe after the "Plague" was over to finish the job the plague started. So many had died, until Europe's population would not have been able to engage in or sustain a major war. Even during the great wars, the hand of providence was working on behalf of Western Civilization.

People keep forgetting, during World I, the Allies were being decimated by the Ottoman-Turks and the Germans. A freak accident showed the Allies how the Germans were mounting machine guns on airplanes that could shoot through the spinning blades. We have also forgotten, the anti-war movement that almost succeeded in keeping America out of World War I.

During World War II, what saved us from the Germans and the Japanese were their political philosophies, ideologies and the Russian winter, not our armaments or fighting spirit. All Hitler needed to do was quell his anti-semitism for awhile and wait. If he had done this, the Germans would have had the A-Bomb, the Jet, A much larger submarine fleet, buzz bombs, V-2 rockets to deliver A-bombs to America and long range heavy bombers. Plus, he would been able to largely exterminate Europe's Jewish population in his concentration and death camps.

We keep forgetting, it was Hitler that rushed to war against the advice of his senior military planners. Even the code breakers during World War II can not tell you how they managed to break the codes and quietly admit, it had to be the handiwork of GOD.

If the Japanese had not attacked Pearl Harbor, there is strong evidence President Roosevelt and our congressional leaders would have delayed America's entry into the war. In addition, if the Japanese had stayed in the area instead of retreating, they would have dealt a stinging blow to America's war effort in the Pacific.

Let's not forget, the Japanese were tenacious fighters. If Japanese leaders had modernized their fleet, aircraft and weapons, we might still be fighting World War II and the ending might be entirely different from what we are living today.

We keep forgetting, if Germany had not attacked Russia, England's war effort would have been severely compromised. This does not include the other improbable blunders the Germans, the Japanese and the Italians made throughout War II. I could go on, but this is enough. Smoker's Rights

"Smoker's Rights" like "Civil Rights", "Abortion Rights", "Women Rights", "Animal Rights" and host of other political concoctions is a myth. Human beings have no rights except life, liberty and the peaceful and intelligent pursuit of happiness.

The key words are peaceful and intelligent. The "Founding Fathers" got it partially right. The reason for peaceful and intelligent is because there are sadistic and barbaric people that have no concept of peaceful and intelligent and must be educated to this fact.

Our human rights are inalienable rights granted by GOD (YHVH) not man. For those of you that have a problem with GOD, put a universe in place, then I'll consider your point of view. Anything and everything beyond these rights are privileges granted by society.

First, let's deal with this issue of rights. GOD grants rights, human society grants privileges. My rights stop where my neighbor's begins. Whenever a government, by whatever means that government was instituted within a population group, infringes upon these rights, the affected people have a legitimate reason and cause to overthrow that government by whatever means possible.

Whenever another individual's pursuit of life, liberty and happiness infringes upon the rights of another to enjoy or experience the same, the affected party has a legitimate reason and cause to end that intrusion, suppression or oppression. By this definition abortion is criminal act because it infringes on the unborn's right to pursue life, liberty and the intelligent pursuit of happiness.

When it comes to privileges, like smoking, civil accommodations, our care for animals, bearing arms, etc., these are privileges granted by society to the members of that society. When these privileges are granted, it is incumbent upon every person enjoying privileges, to respect the rights (life, liberty, happiness) and privileges of others. Failing to do so, should mean the revocation of that particular privilege.

Smokers can smoke, but do not smoke around people that are impacted directly or indirectly by your habit or pleasure. If you fail to respect another's right (life, liberty, happiness) and privilege not to smoke, or to be around smokers, you have infringed upon the rights (life, liberty, happiness) and privileges of another human being. For years, smokers paid little or no attention to the rights (life, liberty, happiness) and privileges of others while we (I smoke too) indulged ourselves.

For over 25 years, I have never smoked around anyone that did not appreciate my smoke in their air space. Even at home, I smoke in a well ventilated room, and only smoke in that room. I do not smoke anywhere that does not have adequate ventilation. In short, I learned to govern myself because I respected the rights (life, liberty, happiness) and privileges of others.

If we, as smokers, fail to police ourselves, and this includes properly disposing of cigarette butts or cigar stubs, then somebody or an elected group has no choice but to police us, since we failed to do it ourselves. Government has a duly and an obligation to protect the rights (life, liberty, happiness) and privileges of all citizens. If that means protecting the innocent from abusive smokers, then for once, government is taking a needed and necessary action.

Will America Win The Hearts And Minds Of Muslims?

America will never win the hearts and minds of Muslims. In fact, no western democracy will.

Even though the reasons for this are many and varied, there are 3 major reasons why this will never happen. These reasons are philosophical, historical and fundamental.

The philosophical differences between Judaism, Christianity and Islam run deep and are rarely recognized. It seems very few people have ever ask themselves this question: Why didn't the people of North Africa and the area of the planet commonly referred to as the Middle East, embrace Judaism or Christianity? Why did they embrace Islam so readily? Once analyzed, it becomes painfully clear that the roots of Christianity and Islam can be traced back to Judaism and neither one has credibility or can exist without it.

Over the centuries the basic tenets of Christianity have managed to co-exist peacefully with Judaism and Islam. Islam on the other hand, has not and will not co-exist with Christianity or Judaism because it is the philosophical antithesis of both. Since modern Western Democracies and their inherent philosophies are deeply rooted in Judaism, it is virtually impossible for true Muslims to accept rule or peaceful co-existence with anything that is of the Christian or Judaic West or East.

The historical reasons why we will never win the hearts and minds of Muslims goes back thousands of years. The interaction between Muslims, Christians and Jews has been violent and bloody for centuries. To fully understand the roots of this animosity will require an intense historical analysis that goes all the way back to the Sons of Abraham, Ishmael and Israel. In the last 100 years, all you really need to do is fast forward to the end of World War I, which can be easily researched and documented.

When the French and British governments decided to carve up the Ottoman-Turk Empire after World War I, their diplomats paid little attention to the ethnic hostilities that were rampant in the region at the time. They were more concerned about economic advantages, political expediency and subduing the ethnic populations. The animosities Muslims harbor against the West can be traced back to the treachery and brutal suppression they experienced at the hands of their colonial masters.

Don't lose your bearing because of the "so-called" Palestinian Issue. The Balfour Declaration called for a Jewish and Palestinian State. It was the Arabs that reneged on the Agreement. Muslim hostility toward America has nothing to do with this issue. It is a recent addition, just like our invasion of Iraq.

America became the target of Muslim animosity by default because of the following reason, America is the military arsenal of the Western Powers; i.e, France, Britain, Italy, Germany, Spain, etc., and the only remaining super military force on earth. Don't be deceived. America's military capacity, if unrestrained, can destroy any nation on this planet.

Even though Russia and China are formidable military powerhouses, they are no match for America unleashed. Europe's military industrial complex was dismantled after World War II and the task of defending Europe was literally given to America. Therefore, Muslims sincerely believe, and rightly so, that if America is destroyed, Europe and England will fall.

Finally, there are fundamental differences between Islam, Judaism and Judeo-Christianity that can never be bridged. If Islam changed any of it's tenets, it would no longer be Islam. There are many in North and South America, Europe, England and the Far East that are naive when it comes to this fact. Islam is a religion of brotherly love for Muslims only. The rest of us are infidels and are to be converted, persecuted or destroyed.

Don't be misled by Muslims living in non Muslim countries. These Muslims are largely apostates and are not living by all the tenets of the faith because of economic, political, social, safety or for whatever reason/s that are advantageous and/or beneficial to them. If they are true Muslims, their duty as Muslims is to convert, persecute or destroy all non Muslims. If you don't believe this, find yourself a real Muslim scholar so he/she can explain this to you.

Empowerment Through Self Discovery

Self discovery is the process by which human beings educated themselves, understand themselves, grow spiritually and intellectually and empower themselves.

Why is this so vitally important? It is vitally important because unless an individual knows who he/she really is, he/she is a stranger to himself/herself.

Unless a person knows his/her talents and abilities, he/she is forever crippled as a human being and subject to the whims and dictates of others.

Self discovery is a process that begins and ends with you. This process, in its simplest form, is the means by which you grow and develop intellectually and spiritually. The physical you grows on its own. All you basically have to do is feed it and properly and take of it. The manner, means and method by which the physical aspect of our being grows is normally beyond our conscious control.

Consequently, the only aspects of your being over which you can exercise control is your spiritual and intellectual self. Self discovery will help you identify, characterize, organize and effectively utilize what you have learned and will continue to learn about yourself. This is the essence and the foundation of personal growth and development and it is the only means by which you can rise to higher levels of conscious awareness.

Empowerment like everything else on our planet is a process. It begins by acquiring knowledge that grows into understanding and matures into wisdom. Wisdom is the practical application and use of knowledge and understanding in ways that benefit the individual and others.

It has been said, "knowledge is power". If this is true, then the more knowledge an individual has or acquires, the more powerful that individual becomes relative to others in his/her immediate environment and the more confidence that individual will have in himself/herself. Having confidence in yourself encourages others to have confidence in you and your abilities.

Self discovery and self empowerment are important for other reasons as well. The most important being having the ability to examine your mindset on an ongoing basis. The reason why so many people are crippled psychologically is because they never examined the knowledge they carry around in their heads or how they got that knowledge.

Millions have never initiated the self discovery process that will help them live more productively. If you don't have the right mindset, it is much more difficult, if not impossible, to live productively and successfully with boundless joy and happiness.

Unlike professional athletes and entertainers that can survive on their honed skills and natural talents, and the world will pay a premium to be entertained by them, The rest of us need to have the correct mindset and continually improve the way we think, what we think, how we think and our decision-making process. Using your mind properly is the only known method to achieving your personal goals, whatever they may be.

Asking the question: Who is responsible for terrorism?... is more proof the intellectual left is on the precipice of intellectual madness. Even discussing it adds credibility to the argument that the tenets of "Political Correctness" have gone far beyond tolerance.

Could it be, that in their misguided attempt to be "Politically Correct", the intellectually astute have distorted their own actuality and reality and have diminished their ability to think clearly on any subject?

There is absolutely nothing to decide or ponder. The terrorist are responsible for their acts of terrorism. The answer to this question now opens the door to debate as to why they are committing these unspeakable acts of brutality against innocent men, women and children. In this discussion arena, any reason is as good as any other. Such is the nature of intellectual madness.

A brutal killer can now be excused for his/her dastardly deeds because of what happened in his/her childhood. Madmen, masquerading as religious, spiritual or political leaders, can now be excused for their heinous crimes because they have suffered political, economic and/or social persecution. The fact of the matter is we are responsible for what we do or do not, not our mothers, fathers, the government or self-styled dictators and their supporters.

Human society is what it is because of the ideologies, concepts and precepts human beings are willing to accept as true. It rarely matters whether this ideology comes from GOD or madmen like Hitler, Stalin, Caligula, Mussolini or the late Saddam Hussein. Human beings make their own decisions and then dutifully seek ways, means and/or methods to isolate themselves from their actions, activities and their own decision making process.

They artfully and skillfully transfer their responsibility to others. We casually call this the blame game, but in war and politics this is a high stakes game played for real..in real time...and with real consequences. These modern barbarians instinctively know that somewhere out there on planet earth are idiots and educated fools that will believe them.

How is this done? They blame others and then ask the question. The question becomes a political, religious, spiritual, economic or social statement that has sympathetic appeal. Now, instead of hauling these barbaric individuals off to the gallows and executing them for their crimes against humanity, a "so-called" "self styled" intellectual now takes up the cause and begins blaming American foreign policy or some other situation, circumstance or event as the reason for terrorism and the acts of terrorist.

This insidious madness goes even further, these butchers are now hailed as heroes by their own people. Some are even transformed into icons for public consumption and actually considered as martyrs for the cause.

This unthinkable act, sucks even more unsuspecting men and women into this murderous and detestable lifestyle. It matters little that the acts of these "so called" martyrs are immoral and senseless acts of human butchery. How does this happen so easily and with so little effort? It can be traced directly and indirectly right back to ideologies, concepts and precepts they accepted as being true.

What Makes A Nation

Whenever I hear the excuses some "Liberals" and many "Latinos" use to defend corrupt and ineffective leadership that is proliferating throughout South America, I have to remind them of Japan, South Korea and Israel. All of these countries were poor when compared to major world powers.

Japan: Japan is a nation of few natural resources. The Japanese people have always been afraid of poverty, so afraid in fact, they developed a work ethic that is so intense and remarkable that it has propelled them from a poverty stricken nation to a world power. They were a world power in World I and World War II and they are an economic power today.

What international agency helped them? What UN mandate? What foreign agency loaned them money during their rise from poverty to riches? How many of them are illegal immigrants anywhere in the world? The answers are few or none. The Japanese have earned everything they have.

Even in America, few Japanese; if any, have ever been convicted of a major crime. Few. if any, Japanese are on subsidy programs they didn't earn. Even though they were horribly discriminated against in this country, they went to war as Americans and fought and died with honor. They are and always will be one of the greatest nation of people on this planet.

South Korea: Let's turn to the South Koreans, another great nation of people. South Korea was virtually decimated during the communist incursion into southeast Asia. Yet in less than 30 years, using natural and human resources, they raised themselves from the bottom to an economic powerhouse. To date, there are few, if any, South Koreans in American prisons, on undeserved government subsidies or can be called an illegal immigrant.

What did these third world nations, that are now first world, have that many nations around the world lack? The answer in 3 words is honest, dedicated, leadership. Their governments were not engrossed in corruption, ineffective and/or self-serving. Their people were committed to each other. They worked together as a nation. All for one and one for all.

What makes America great is not our natural resources, its our people. What makes any country great is its people. If natural resources were the key to greatness, Russia would be the greatest and most powerful nation on this earth and they are not.

Finally there is Israel: Israel is a tiny nation that is no more than a strip of land. It is surrounded by millions of hostile Arabs. Yet this nation of people whose ethnicity has caused them to be butchered by the millions is one of the most successful nations on earth. The Israeli Defense Forces are among the world's elite and their air force rivals our own. They took a barren wasteland and turned it into an oasis.

I could talk about 50 countries or more where people are struggling and dying rather than coming together as a nation. The answer is always the same. What makes a nation great..the people and those they choose to govern them and lead them.

Violence In The Middle East And The Sykes-Picot Agreement

Practically all the modern states of the Middle East were influenced by the Sykes-Picot Agreement. This Agreement has caused more death and destruction than any other Middle East Document.

The Sykes-Picot Agreement has literally been the cornerstone of Europe's and England's Middle East policy since its acceptance and enactment in May of 1916. The agreement was originally a secret document that was initiated by Mark Sykes - a Briton and Francois Georges-Picot - a Frechman. It's purpose was to establish territorial control and spheres of influence in what is now the Middle East and other areas that belonged to the Ottoman-Turks.

The various policy positions of the French and British governments on the Palestinian and Jewish issues during the 1920s, 30s, during and After World War II can be traced to Skyes-Picot and its subsequent agreements and the Balfour Declarations of 1917 and 1926. (See: Sykes-Picot)

Even today, Turkish government leaders do not want an independent Kurdistan on their border. Persians and Medes; along with a huge Shi'ite population were thrown together in Iran.

The Balfour Declarations supported an independent Palestine and an independent Israel. The Palestinians were denied a homeland, not by the Jews, America, Britian or France. The Arabs denied them a homeland. Arab governments made the decision that a Palestinian state would not be in territories they controlled. If Palestine were going to exist, it would be in the land allocated to the Jews.

There was little or no justification for the Arab position because there was never an autonomous Palestine within the Ottoman-Turk Empire. Palestine existed in name only as a former Roman Province. In 140 AD, Hadrian changed the name of Israel to Palestine. Therefore, if the Palestinians wanted an antonomous homeland they had to take it from its legitimate owners, the Jews. Arab governments have supported this position since that time.

The animosities Muslims harbor against the West can be traced back to the brutal suppression they experienced at the hands of their colonial masters. Prior to World I, the vast majority of Americans had little or no interest in European politics. As a nation, we did not want to enter World I or World II, even though we were quietly supporting the Allies in both Wars. Pearl Harbor and Hitler's Declaration of War changed all that during World War II.

America is involved in this Middle East quagmire for the following reasons:

1. We are basically the military arsenal of the Western Powers; i.e, France, Britian, Italy, Germany, Spain, etc. and the only remaining super power on the planet.

2. The Soviet Union, now Russia, has been sympathetic toward Middle Eastern foreign policy positions since the 1950s. During World War II, "Radical Islamic" groups had their own SS divisions, courtesy of Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich.

3. Europe's military industrial complex was largely dismantled after World War II and the task of defending Europe was literally given to America. Therefore, "Islamic Radicals" believe, and rightly so, that if America is destroyed, Europe and England will eventually fall.

As you can see, this long standing hatred of the West, because of poor diplomacy, has been transferred to America by default. Over the past 50 years, Western Europe has become much more sympathetic to Arab policies and has huge Muslim populations. Hence, "Islamic Radicals" truly believe that the only obstacle to their eventual conquest of Europe and the world is America.

Even though President Bush was literally dragged into this conflict because of 9/11, I firmly believe he is one of the few American Presidents that truly understands the dangers of an all out war with Muslim extremist. Even President Nixon believed a war with "Radical Islamic" groups was inevitable. It was reported that Nixon also believed America and the West would lose, and the best strategy to adopt was to delay the war as long as possible.

Unfortunately, "Radical Islamic" groups struck first in the 1980s overseas, again in the 90s overseas, and finally America on 9/11/2001. President Bush believes we can win this war. I believe we can win it also as long as we keep "Liberals" and their warped philosophical views out of power. Once, they are entrenched, "Liberals" and their supporters will eventually try to appease "Radical Islam" and create absolute disaster.

President Bush and Donald Rumsfeld's only miscalculation was fighting "Radical Islam" in Iraq with too small an Army. Our intelligence failed us again. We would have been much better off pursuing Osama Bin Laden , the remnants of Al-Qaida and the Taliban into Pakistan. The violence in the Middle East and this war are going to last for a long, long time.

Situational Ethics And Illegal Immigration

Any criminal can reform and become an outstanding citizen. All Germans weren't Gestapo agents, members of the dreaded SS, brutal and barbaric to conquered peoples, or responsible for the horror of the Holocaust. However, do we conclude just because one German or a few were good, decent and humane that their crimes as a nation should be excused and ignored?

Do we ignore and pardon the crimes of those who were actually guilty of these atrocities? No..we do not and should not. Situational ethics is a dangerous intellectual game. Either you enforce our laws or repeal them. Once the law has been adhered to, then we can discuss in an intelligent and forthright manner any extenuating circumstances. Not before.

This is the essence of true justice. If illegal aliens were sincere in their intentions, they would confess their crime of illegal entry and throw themselves on the mercy and justice of the American people. I'm certain they would find sympathizers. Such acts would demonstrate sincerity of purpose and a willingness to honor our laws and respect our institutions. In the absence of contrition, regardless of how innocent an undocumented individual's actions and activities may be, we must conclude that they willfully and knowingly choose to ignore our laws and thus disrespect us all.

How can an undocumented individual enter our home (country) uninvited, violate our trust, trample the very essence of our sovereignty and then expect us a nation to ignore their abuses and call them friends? Trust must be earned not given, therefore, how can we ever trust them without just and verifiable acts?

If undocumented aliens sincerely wanted our trust and friendship, they would have done the right thing. Even the 9/11 hijackers did that. In addition, before 9/11/2001 not one hijacker committed a crime, major or minor and entered our country legally.

According published reports. we have 8-12 million people within our borders that are very capable of helping us, hurting us or killing us and we have no idea who they are. Undocumented aliens not only hurt our economy, institutions and services, they also hurt themselves by being outside of our legal system. They rob themselves and their children of respectability.

If earning money is our only criteria for citizenship and legality, then every cut throat, thief, murderer, con artist drug lord, crime boss, corrupt politician and drug smuggler is a model citizen. Surely, you nor I want this level of depravity for ourselves, our nation, our society, or for our children.

Undocumented individuals must do the right thing by coming forward, leaving voluntarily or we must find them and deport them because we can not play that dangerous game of situational ethics.

Immigration Reform

Meaningful immigration reform has nothing to do with departmental changes that may be necessary in a time of crisis such as 9/11/2001 and creating the Department of Homeland Security. If we have able, competent and intelligent leadership in these areas, departmental confusion will end at some future time. After all, we were attacked and change is often a slow and painful process.

As far as immigration reform is concerned, the first thing we need to do is create a government program to hire legitimate citizens that are unemployed and get busy rounding up every illegal immigrant in our country.

Amnesty and guest worker programs at this point in time would be a recipe for disaster. What you are invariably doing is sanctioning a criminal activity. No reforms should be discussed until our current laws are enforced, our borders secure and these people are out of our country. Then and only then should we re-examine our immigration policies. This action needs to be taken for the following reasons.

1. By definition and legal statutes, undocumented aliens or illegal immigrants are criminals. A criminal, as defined by Webster, is anyone who has broken a law. A statute is a law passed by a legislative body. The Federal government deemed years ago that entering America, through other than legal and lawful channels (refugees are legal)is illegal. Therefore, if you are in America with stolen identities, false identities, and/or without proper documentation, you are a criminal. Creating safe havens and employing these individuals, under the law, is aiding and abetting a felon.

2. Currently, assuming all the reported statistical data is true, We have over 12,000,000 felons running loose in our communities. We, as a nation, are encouraging lawlessness and contempt for the rule of law. These people have no allegiance to our country, no respect for our values or us. Why should they? The dangers of unrestricted immigration are too numerous to mention. There are the health risks; such as AIDS, Bird Flu, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Small Pox, Venereal Diseases and the list goes on.

3. Besides the risk of epidemics, there is also the potential risk of thousands of potential mass murders, thieves, drug traffickers, smugglers, rapist and pedophiles all masquerading as farm workers, maids, construction workers or common laborers. We have no knowledge of who these people are, where they come from or their political beliefs and/or affiliations.

4. We may be allowing thousands of Al-Qaida sleeper cells into our country all plotting to commit mass murder at some future time. Radical or militant Islam is real, suicide bombers are real and cold blooded killers are real.

These matters should not be taken lightly, nor should we make decisions based on purely humanitarian considerations. We could be nursing vipers in our midst that our children and grandchildren will have to deal with in the future, all because of our stupidity and lack of resolve.

I Receive A Bone For Every Steak You Eat

To Newt Gingrich and his supporters. Elections in America are no longer choices between two futures, they are choices between two political parties and the ideologies of the men and/or women that have the power to impose their beliefs on others.

The tidbits or rewards we receive as common men and women are the bones that are thrown to us after the steak is eaten.

These tidbits or rewards are the bills that manage to be enacted into law. If we examined every law passed by both houses of congress, we will discover that someone benefited at the expense of someone else. This is Linear Thinking at its worst and is a recipe for eventual political failure.

Every time we elect a politician to office and grant him/her authority over us or appoint a judge, we are risking our future, not securing it. Why is this so? The primary reason is because the vast majority of political figures, advocates of every kind and sort, and even the political parties themselves are populated with Linear Thinkers. A Linear Thinker is any person that reasons or arrives at decisions based on his/her objective or subjective understanding of opposing forces or factors.

Let's take this example: In the jargon of the political right, "Radical Secularist are replacing 219 years of American religious freedom and political liberty with a revisionist version of American history. " The 2 most important questions we need to ask are:

(1) Who are these "Radical Secularist"?

(2) How have they risen or how did they rise to positions of power and authority that would allow them to usurp our political process to implement their agenda?

The political right has often stated: "The Supreme Court has seen fit to rule against God in the American public square time and again, even as they sit inside of a building surrounded by religious imagery. Most prominent among them are a depiction of Moses and an engraving of the Ten Commandments over the chair of the Chief Justice, each affirming our Judeo-Christian roots."

Since I have been living, I have never seen, read or heard of the Supreme Court calling a press conference to announce they are going to change a law. The courts have made every ruling based on their interpretation and understanding of the Law and the Constitution as it applies to the case/s presented to them.

In Newt's own words; I quote: "In case after case brought by radical secularists, activist judges have virtually made God into an outlaw. The Court has ruled against school prayers and Bible studies, and even prohibited voluntary prayer before football games. Most recently, a California court reaffirmed the Ninth Circuit Court ruling that the phrase 'one nation, under God' was unconstitutional."

WHY? If these justices are usurping the law and/or going beyond their constitutional authority they should be impeached and imprisoned. This is obviously not the case. So who is to blame and who is accountable? The answer is: We the People and Our Elected Representatives.

Let's examine other statements from leading conservatives; I quote: "They are using the courts to meet their political objectives. But why should we accept appointed lawyers’ edicts on how faith can be expressed in the public square? If you sit out an election, you are choosing their desire for enforced secularism." These statements should have been reviewed because they are inherently misleading and no more than political propaganda.

The reason why we accept appointed lawyers and judges is because our political system and institutions allow these appointments. This is not an enforcement of secularism. This is a manifestation of a legitimate process. If this process is not functioning as it should, who is to blame and who is accountable? The answer is: We the People and Our Elected Representatives.

Newt Gingrich has also stated, and I quote: "Their only hope is to keep you from voting." I have never seen, read, or heard of any "Radical Secularist" calling a press conference urging people not to vote or issuing threats to intimidate people into not voting. This is not a true statement.

As you can see, the political right and Republicans, the political left and leaders within the Democratic Party are all victims of the same 'Linear Thinking' process that doomed every civilization since human history began. These miscues are harmless. However, they do serve to rally the weak minded to the polls to vote. By doing so, more politicians and their bankers will continue eating steaks, while we, the people, nibble on the bones or crumbs.

The real problem is not the Radical Secularist. To my knowledge, these people have not broken any laws. The real problem is "We the People and Our Elected Representatives."Therefore, we need a better political model that encourages people to vote for the right reasons rather than cheap political propaganda. I'm tired of nibbling on bones.

Let's see...graft, corruption, ineptitude, dysfunctionality, the "Good Old Boy Political System" and more pork barrel political earmarks than any congress in American history.

Let's add more spending than the Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society". Runaway immigration, disfunctional government agencies, over 3,000 dead Americans in Iraq in a situation that is rapidly deteriorating, energy legislation that enriches "Big Oil", prescription drugs that enrich pharmaceutical companies, deplorable oversight of e-voting machines, unfair tax legislation, failed policies and programs all over Washington, DC and influence peddling.

Please give me a break about Nancy Pelosi and Charles Rangel. Let's get beyond political infighting and move to the next level. Our "Republican Leaders" are an absolute political embarrassment and we might as well call a spade a spade.

The primary reason why the press is harder on Republicans than Democrats is because they expect more from Republicans. They expect higher standards of morality, ethics, and higher standards of performance at every level of government. When Republicans succumb to base and vile political standards, they are no better than the Democrats who have been corrupt for years. In other words, Republicans are hypocrits and the press hammers that fact home.

What Is The Real Message From The 2006 Mid-Term Elections?

While the Democrats are basking in victory and the Republicans are reeling in defeat, the real losers in the 2006 midterm elections are the American People.

The U.S. House of Representatives will return to its former theatrics and the U.S. Senate will return to a comedy of errors. There are only two real messages I can glean from the 2006 midterm elections.

Message #1: The American voters put back in power the same party that flaunts its perversions, corruption, immorality, back room, back door, deceptive legislative practices and its utter contempt for the rule of law.

Pundits, political commentators and Democratic operatives are keep telling us the American people have sent a strong message that we are upset over the debacle that is commonly referred to as the War on Terror, now called the War in Iraq.

Therefore, they are essentially saying that we, the American people, prefer graft, corruption, perversion, immorality and a gangster operation masquerading as the Democratic Party, rather than a Republican Party of principles, values, responsible citizenship, low taxes, real leadership and effective government. At least that how it was suppose to work.

I don't like what is going on with the Republican Party, but I'm not that far removed from reality to put Democrats back in control of Congress for another 50 years. The Democratic record in this country is not only shameful and a dismal failure, it is an absolute atrocity. Let's review what the Democrats have done for us, as a nation, besides taxing us from crib to grave.

Under Democratic rule; many of our schools became day care centers, social experiments, dysfunctional and on the verge of collapsing into a nightmare reality for our children. Our military was virtually destroyed and demoralized. Our manufacturing base was gutted and shipped overseas, which relegated millions to the welfare rolls, while turning industrial communities into industrial wastelands.

Under the Democrats, our nation became a cess pool of illegal drugs, crime, sexual perversion, immorality, deceit, deception, lies, fraud, government abuse, corruption and legal thievery. The Democrats put America on a downward spiral, from which we may never recover and this does not include the murder of over 40 million babies in abortion factories.

Because of their blunderous foreign policy decisions, the Democrats unwittingly contributed to the birth and growth of the modern terrorist movement. Don't take my word for this, review their record and history for yourselves.

At least President Bush and the Republicans had the guts to stand up and try to do something about our downward spiral. During the 6 years the Republicans controlled the House and the Senate they did manage to give Congress some level of decency.

However, that old adage is still true and few have escaped is intoxicating appeal. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Did Republicans make mistakes?...Yes. Did the Republican leadership slip into the unforgiving abyss of coverup and corruption?...Yes.

However, unlike their Democratic counterparts that are still harboring an impeached judge and a suspected criminal in the House of Representatives, elected a dead man to political office, elected a known racist (Byrd) and a glib grifteress (Hillary Clinton) to the U.S. Senate and a known philanderer (Bill Clinton) as President. At least the Republicans try to keep a clean house.

The Democratic Party has repeatedly demonstated that they have no concept of what it means to keep a clean house. The stench from the corruption and chicanery that the Democratically controlled Congress gave us still hangs over this nation like a burial shroud. But, if you stand in a pig pen long enough, you can easily adapt to its foul smell and mounds of filth.

These are not partisan attacks, they are absolute facts that any reader can verify for himself/herself. To be sure the War in Iraq is no longer popular; but it is the right war at the right time. It's just in the wrong place. To be sure, the war on terror in Iraq has been horribly mismanaged. However, to assume the Democrats can save us from future terrorism is sheer madness.

How can modern Democrats help us win a war against radical Islam? How can they, when they have already made a mess of America. The modern Democratic Party has literally destroyed every value, concept and precept we have ever cherished as a nation. Their liberal ideology has ruined everything it has ever touched from education to free trade. It only stands to reason they will ruin the War on Terror and destroy us in the process.

This leads me to the second message I have gleaned from the 2006 mid-term elections. This message is far more insidious and disheartening.

Message #2: Vast segments of our population are becoming so lawless, petty, polarized, self-serving and selfish in nature, until they are dragging all of us down to new lows of personal depravity.

There is another adage that is well suited for our day and age and it is uniquely suited as an epithet for the 2006 mid-term elections. Every nation of people will eventually end up with a government it deserves. God help us all if this ever becomes true.

From the time we are born to the day we die, we are taught to doubt ourselves, have negative feelings and question ourselves. This is totally normal. However, you must understand that self doubt will not allow you to stand out above the crowd or be truly successful. You must have confidence in yourself.

Confidence, Confidence, Self Confidence is the one thing all successful men and women have in common. They have confidence in their knowledge. They have confidence in their abilities. They are confident they can accomplish any task. They are confident that hard work and commitment will be rewarding.

Do successful people have doubts or negative feelings? Of course they do. How they overcome negatives in their lives is the difference. This ability to overcome negatives and obstacles naurally makes them successful, and it will make you successful. Successful people breathe and eat positives; especially when it comes to what they want to accomplish! Their positives tremendously out weigh all the negative influences and doubt they encounter. They block out negatives and negative people.

Successful, confident, positive individuals are happy with themselves, satisfied with their surroundings. People enjoy being near them. They have magnetic personalities, they attract others and flood their entire area with confidence and reality based thinking.

Think for a minute, do you want to be in the company of a dull negative person or a person that is enthusiastic and confident? Negative people bring you down, depress you and can cause you to doubt your own abilities. Positive people raise you up, make you feel better and being around them gives you more confidence. Negative attitudes are like viral diseases, they spread quickly to the weak-minded and the uninformed.

Not all "millionaires" are successful. Not all successful people are millionaires. Money alone does not mean success. Some wealthy individuals inherited their riches, some achieved their riches with blind luck like lottery winners. One thing you can be sure of is this: All self made millionaires that achieved success had confidence in themselves and a positive attitude. They think like "millionaires" even when the bank account is empty.

Do you want to wait for an inheritance or luck? Or would you rather start thinking positively and use your "GOD (YHVH) Given Abilities"? For those of you that have a problem with GOD, put a universe in place; then, I'll consider your point of view. Otherwise, why not build your own successful life? Confidence not only builds your bank account, it also improves your physical and mental health. Both mind and body are necessary for absolute positive unbending confidence!

Our lives on this planet are short. So make the most of the time you have. Whenever you become "Stressed and Depressed" remind yourself constantly that in everything you do, put GOD (YHVH) first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success. For those of you that have a problem with GOD, put a universe in place then I'll consider your point of view. In all that I have seen, read and experienced I know without a shadow of a doubt, there is only one GOD and his name is YHVH.

If you are a Christian, do not hide this fact. Live your life according to the principles as outlined in the Holy Scriptures. There is a reason for this: When a man or woman is trying to please GOD, GOD makes even his worst enemies to be at peace with him. GOD comforts us in our troubles so we can encourage others in theirs.

It is important that you understand that the sweetest songs often come from broken hearts. As it is written: "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning". Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell GOD your needs and don't forget to thank him for his answers. If you are not a Christian, then pay homage to and thank the GOD/s that watch/es over and direct/s your life.

It will be very helpful to further your understanding to include (among other concepts, precepts, and ideologies) the proper mental attitude in order to have an acceptable standard of living. Defer pleasure for a short while, save and invest your money wisely, and use the interest earned to buy the material things that add comfort and pleasure to life.

It would be a good practice to buy more for less and enjoy the things you want at discount; rather than full price. Strive to acquire material things at the lowest possible price. To put it simply; save, get the most for your money. Use interest earnings to buy at the lowest possible price in order to have more material possessions if this is your desire.

You must also understand that it is your responsibility to be in control of what you think and how you feel. In order to properly regulate your thinking, attitudes and feelings, engage in self-talk from time to time. What I have learned from my own self-talk is that it is best to set and pursue just one goal at a time. Change one habit at a time. Instead of trying to tackle many goals at once, it is better to concentrate and focus on a single objective that is readily attainable, something you are reasonably sure you can achieve.

In my self-talk, I have said the following many times. I become programmed. My programming creates my beliefs. My beliefs determine my attitudes, concepts, precepts, psychology and general state of mind. My attitudes create my feelings and my feelings determine whether I will take some action or not act at all. In the final analysis, my thoughts and actions will determine whether I succeed or fail. You will also benefit by having a similar "Self-Management Sequence".

As an Associate, you may need to acquire the habit of thinking differently if you want to have what you desire. Success is not something you do, it is the end result of an organized and intelligence process that is directed at achieving a specific objective or goal. When you want something you have never had, you must be willing to do something you have never done.

Determine to do that something different. If need be, change your focus, change your thinking, and if necessary change your goal. And with the power of GOD, you can change your circumstances. The decisions you make today, will determine what GOD will do for you tomorrow. Nothing times nothing equals nothing. Therefore, whatever you faithfully sow, GOD will use to multiply back to you. Of this you can be absolutely assured because it is GOD's Law. For it is written: "But my GOD shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19 KJV)

It is your responsibility to develop a plan to guide your thinking and a plan to organize and focus your activities and actions. You also need a plan for your life. It can be very confusing to get somewhere, when you don't know where you are headed. A plan is like a road map. It tells you where you are and points you in a direction. It helps you strategize how to get from point "A" to point "B".

Everything I have stated on these pages is no more or less than a brief paragraph in the "Story of Words". Whether you write them on paper, a computer screen, utter them on a recording device or use them in some other way, words are only the flint that strikes the fire. Use power words in your self-talk to set yourself up. Use them to challenge yourself. Change yourself if you want to change or to do better. If you choose to do better, by all means develop a plan of action to accomplish your objective.

No one else is going to write your story, you must do that. What you have done will be recorded in words, if not by you, by someone else. You are responsible for the words that will be written about your life. Your actions and activities will become the story of who you are and what you became in your brief life on earth.

We are a human race of living words. We live by words. Words create our emotions, thoughts and formulate the images in our minds. Words tell us where we are, what we are, and describe what we are doing. They tell us where we are going and why we are going there. Whatever you know about yourself, your words or the words of someone else told you.

To the uninformed and overly educated words are merely parts of speech. Nothing more than alphabetical characters organized into sentences and paragraphs. Something written in books, or spoken in an understandable language. Words are much more. They are the means by which we formulate and structure intelligent thought.

Every word you and I will ever speak, hear, think, write, see or read will have a picture attached to it and a meaning that informs or stimulates the programming files in our subconscious mind. We are affected and effected by words - each and every one of them. Our words carry the life giving breath of awareness that courses through our minds.

Words are the very essence of our understanding and they direct our motions throughout our entire lives. Therefore the words you use in your self-talk will tell you who you really are, what you are really feeling, and what you should be doing to accomplish your goals and objectives. Words have the power to do this every moment of your entire existence. Therefore, write your success story and live by the words that bring joy, meaning, happiness and success to your life.

Where Is America's Comprehensive Energy Policy?

There are only two type problems on planet earth; natural and man made. There are no others.

Our energy needs are natural and man made. Natural because we are dealing with a resource we did not create.

We can use our energy resources, but humanity had nothing to with the creation of oil, coal, trees and natural gases. If the availability of energy resources were our only problem, we could solve this problem very easily because there are only 2 logical courses of action.

1. Develop and implement programs, policies and procedures that would limit our use and need for natural energy reserves. Or...
2. Develop and implement programs, policies and procedures to deal with the aftermath in the event this could not be done. Surely, any intelligent group of people can figure this out.

Since what nature has done or will do is beyond our immediate control, lets identify our collective problems. Our man made problems can be lumped into 12 broad categories.

Failure to Research and/or Investigate (Educational, Institutional)
Inadequate Technological Development (Educational, Institutional)
Developmental Failure (Don't have enough knowledge or expertise)
Implementational Failure (Social, Political, Economic)

All these problems can be solved with accurate information and applying the age old principle of using whatever knowledge we have managed to accumulate with understanding and wisdom. Whenever a person or group fail to act responsibly or fail to compromise in a legislative process because of conscious, principle or belief (religious or otherwise), we are not dealing with a problem. We are dealing with a condition.

Conditions can exist for any number of reasons. Our collective mission and objective is to find out the nature of the condition and address it in an intelligent, thoughtful and forthright manner. This means our energy needs can be solved. The first step Congress needs to take is to open all available areas for oil and natural gas exploration. The second step Congress needs to take is to develop a logical and comprehensive energy policy. Any well thought out energy policy should have 6 key elements...

Effectively alleviate or prevent high consumer energy prices
Reduce or effectively manage consumption
Reduce our reliance on imported energy resources
Develop alternative and/or renewable energy sources
Increase our ability and capacity to develop and manage our own energy resources..and
Protect the environment before, during and after energy resources are discovered or developed by a man made process.

Consumers, industry and businesses throughout the nation should have enough innate intelligence to realize oil, gas, coal and other natural energy resources are finite. Even renewable energy resources have limitations. Therefore, if our nation is still struggling with rising energy prices, tight supplies and increased reliance on imports from politically unstable areas, then we have a failed or failing leadership group in charge.

It is more important than ever that the federal government work out their political and philosophical differences and give us a sensible energy policy that safely and effectively utilizes U.S. resources. This will not only help industries that rely on crude and natural gas, it would also strengthen our national security, provide jobs for our citizens and spur economic growth.

The Administration and Congress must also quickly approve measures allowing coastal states and localities to receive a fair and equitable share of revenues derived from offshore oil and gas production. This production revenue would provide a tremendous benefit to state and local communities; helping to build roads, schools, hospitals and to address other vital local needs. In addition, no exploration and/or delivery of energy resources should be done without taking all the necessary precautions to safeguard our environment. Don't forget...we live here.

We Should Be Angry About The War In Iraqi

The number one reason why we should be angry about the war in Iraq is American service men and women are dying because of political expediency. We will never be able to appease radical Islam.

Muslims became outraged when American soldiers entered a Masjid to search it for weapons that were being used in terror campaigns. Yet, this same Muslim community have expressed little are no outrage when innocent people were murdered in that same Masjid while kneeling in prayers.

Our misguided media outlets are quick to document anything an American soldier does that might anger a Muslim. Yet, these same media giants rarely discuss Muslim atrocities. Liberals and Democrats don't want to anger Muslims either. So our young men and women take the bullets and bombs and die in the streets of Baghdad while cowardly politicians and media professionals seek ways to appease an unappeasable adversary.

The Democrats lied. They said they would not "cut and run". Yet, in less than 90 days, they have managed to pass legislation to do exactly that..."cut and run". Tell me some more lies. The Democrats said they would not pay politics with the lives of America soldiers. Yet, throughout the mid-term elections of 2006 and in less than 90 days in 2007, that's all they have managed to do is play politics with the lives of our soldiers. If there is any unvented anger over the war in Iraq, direct it at the real culprits, America's media giants, the Democratic Party, their supporters and President Bush's advisors.

Let's be clear about one thing. The war in Iraq was and still is a strategic, tactical and political blunder. We are in the right war, but in the wrong place. If anyone can't see this, I don't know what turnip truck dropped you off. The Bush Administration keeps pointing out that America has not been attacked since 9/11/2001.

The fact of the matter is: Al-Qaida has not attacked America because they don't want to or need to. Why should they, when they are achieving their objectives in Iraq? Over 3,000 American dead, over 20,000 wounded..and some horribly. And...perhaps another 8,000 - 10,000 will be committed to the war effort. If we stay the course without significant policy changes, perhaps 5,000 - 10,000 dead and over 50,000 wounded.

Every dead or wounded American soldier strengthens radical Islam and the Jihadist movement. It does not weaken it. The Taliban have not been destroyed or decimated and they are still a significant threat to the peace and stability of Afghanistan. I don't even want to mention the drug problem and others that are still not resolved after 5 years of fighting. To be sure, Al-Qaida's training camps are no longer in Afghanistan, they are now in Pakistan.

Why is a Iraq a strategic, tactical and political blunder?

First: It diverted resources and manpower from our primary objective which was, and still is....to kill or capture all those responsible for the horrendous attack on 9/11/2001. As far as I can tell from all the reports I have read, Osama Bin Laden, Al-Qaida and the Taliban are alive and well.

Second: Attacking Iraq destroyed the broad support we had to retaliate against those that actually attacked us. I don't recall a single 9/11 hijacker being from Iraq. I do recall 15 of them being from Saudi Arabia. The actual attack was carried out by an Al-Qaida cell not members from Saddam Hussein's Republican Guard. We had the moral authority and the legitimate right to pursue them into Pakistan if need be.

Finally: The major industrial nations on planet earth would have been with us and that includes Mexico and Canada. Killing or capturing Bin Laden would have done more to deter Saddam Hussein than our invasion of his country and his untimely demise at the end of a rope.

If you want to be angry, direct your anger at every senior official in the State and Defense Departments and every advisor that gave President Bush faulty and unreliable information. These people have done more to kill our soldiers than insurgent's bullets and roadside bombs or should I say IEDs - "Improvised Explosive Devices". To be sure, our soldiers would not be facing an insurgency and innocent Iraqis would not be blown up at the meat market if these people had done their jobs.

In his/her/their misguided attempt to save President Musharraf's government in Pakistan, somebody or a group of poorly informed individuals in the President's circle of advisors convinced him to attack Iraq instead of pursuing Bin Laden, the Taliban and Al-Qaida into the tribal regions of Pakistan. This tactical, strategic and political misstep has cost us billions of dollars and the lives of American service men and women that did not need to die in an ill-conceived occupation of an already divided Muslim nation.

If America had amassed a formidable force on the borders of Pakistan, it would have actually strengthened Musharraf's government. No civilized people on this earth, Muslims being the exception, would have objected to our legitimate right to attack those that attacked us. President Musharraf would have had a legitimate reason, cause and purpose to enter the tribal regions with force and establish control over it. If this had happened, within months Bin Laden, the Taliban and Al-Qaida would have been thoroughly decimated, if not completely destroyed.

If you want to be angry...and we should...then...let's have the decency and intelligence to direct our anger at the right person, people, group/s and/or institution/s...instead of dumping the Iraq fiasco on President Bush. He is our President...not our dictator.

A True Religion Is Better Than A Philosophy

Having a religious belief based on the teachings and the words of a true and living GOD (YHVH) is far better than having a philosophy created by men and women just like you and me. Why? Because 9 times out 10 these "self styled" or so called" philosophers are no better than you or me. These people are driven by their egos and their narrow and limited understanding of life, reality and actuality.

Why narrow and limited? They, like you and me, do not live long enough. The best they can produce is a belief system that is followed by individuals that are weak and narrow minded themselves.

This happens frequently because the overwhelming majority of people on planet earth do not know the difference between a belief system and a true religion. Using popular definitions, "Secular Humanism" and Darwinism" can be classified as religions.

Belief systems are not religions at all. They are merely the philosophies and traditions of men and women masquerading as a religion. These belief systems are given credibility by intellectuals and the academic community because of perceived similarities, not real similarities.

However, before we begin this discussion, let's define religion and use a standard definition that has been accepted by scholars around the world as an accurate understanding. A religion is a belief binding the spiritual nature of man or a woman to a super natural being that has the power to create other super natural beings and self sustaining life forms and involves a feeling of dependence and responsibility, together with the feelings and practices which naturally flow from such a belief.

By this definition, Confucianism is not a religion. It follows the teachings of Confucius a natural man, born of woman and later died. The same is true for Taoism, Shintoism, Buddhism, Hinduism (based on the Vedic writings and philosophies), spiritualism of all kinds are philosophies and so is Zoroastrianism, "Secular Humanism", Darwinism and Communism (God is the state).

Islam is based on the revelations of an angel (Gabriel) to a man (Muhammad Mohamet), born of woman and died. Muslims believe Allah (God), via an angel (Gabriel), delivered these messages (the Quran/Koran) to Muhammad. Muhammad himself never claimed or professed that he received revelations from any other source other than the angel Gabriel.

Even though angels are super natural beings, they can not create other beings or self sustaining life forms. Therefore, Gabrielism is a philosophy. However, it does not exist as such. What exist is Islam. Since Angels are messengers of GOD (YHVH), the GOD of the Jews and Christians, Islam for all practical purposes is a derivative of Judaism, though no true confessing Muslim will ever admit this fact. If Islam divorces itself from Judaism, which it has, it is automatically reduced to a philosophy.

Mormonism is based on the teachings of Moroni a prophet that was reportedly sent as a messenger by God to Joseph Smith, another man born of woman and was later killed. Mormonism by definition is not a religion. Moroni was a man, born of woman and died. Mormonism is basically a philosophy that is a derivative or a sect of Christianity.

Likewise, Satanism is tied to an angel, a super natural being that can not create other super natural beings or self sustaining life forms. By definition - Satanism is a philosophy. Therefore, in a contest of Satanism vs Judeo-Christianity, one can clearly and emphatically state Judeo-Christianity is better than Satanism.

There is only one religion on earth that reports and claims that its revelations and teachings come directly from GOD, and that is Judaism and Christianity. We might as well say Judeo-Christianity because they are truly one and the same. So when one says one's religion is better than a philosophy there is truth in this statement.

By definition there is only one true religion on earth and that is Judeo-Christianity. The reason: Angels are created super natural entities that did not create themselves, nor can they create other super natural beings or self sustaining life forms. Even Satan is a fallen angel.

Even though the Vedic writings make numerous references to super natural entities, nowhere in any of the writings do the authors state they were divinely inspired by GOD. Therefore, the only logical conclusion one can reach is: All the nations on earth and all the people on earth have been beneficiaries of only one true religion and that religion is Judeo-Christianity. I challenge anyone to prove otherwise. Since there is only one true religion, it is, by default, better than any one's philosophy.

Basically, when we engage in religious discussions, we are not discussing religions. We are actually discussing systems of beliefs. A system of beliefs can be about anything or started by anyone, and in this discussion, one can legitimately call into question, whether or not one is better or more beneficial than another.

True Christianity and Judaism are, in essence, not religions at all, they are a way of life within a Kingdom ruled by a righteous, all powerful, all knowing, perfect and loving GOD. However, since our discussion is limited to religion and philosophy, I can state emphatically in this article that a true religion can only be created by The GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

On this planet that GOD is YHVH. YHWH, Yahweh, Yahveh and Jehovah are accepted translations. Anything else is a belief system started and perpetuated by men and women and those that follow them.

How Do You Know GOD Exist?

How does anyone know GOD (YHVH) exist? The mere fact that you have a concept and/or realization of GOD or an all powerful entity or force called GOD is proof of the existence of GOD or that force or entity that is known as GOD.

Why? Because it is impossible to think or believe in something that you do not know. The primary reason why so many people have a problem with understanding and accepting the reality of GOD is because they have a mind that has the ability to ask a question.

If GOD is...then, why? If GOD is not...then, how come? Seeking the answers to questions from an inquiring mind is a daunting task; especially when that mind demands instant proof. Let's follow this line of reasoning to its ultimate conclusion. What human being do you know (Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One and His Anointing being the exception)....

1. Has the ability to put an entire universe in place?
2. Has the ability to hang a planet in orbit around an explosive ball of gases thousands of miles in diameter and not be incinerated by it?
3. Can create and develop gravitational forces that are so precise they can keep you on the surface of a spinning planet in space?
4. Can create life forms that reproduce exactly and maintain themselves?
5. Has the ability to design and develop food supplies that can sustain these life forms indefinitely?
6. Can design, create and develop all the forces that operate on this earth and throughout the entire universe with mathematical and scientific precision?
7. Put in place all the processes that allow the creation of goods and services by living beings that can actually think independently of each other?
8. Can give a living life form the ability to reason and build entire cities out what was already in place?
9. Has the ability to transcend time and space and is not limited by either?

This is enough. The answer to all these questions is exactly same. You nor I can think of any human being that has ever lived on this planet or born of woman or in a test tube that has or will have any of these abilities (Christ being the exception). The fact of the matter is human beings hate the fact that we are limited and finite beings.

We basically want to have everything our minds can imagine and live forever without problems, heartache, despair, pain, frustrations, war, sickness, death, disease, destruction, famines, turbulent natural environments, hopelessness or a host of other human circumstances, situations and/or conditions.

If we are to believe those among us that have developed some skills in the sciences, then, all our collective intelligence has managed to create after thousands of years of existence is a cell phone and the ability to destroy ourselves. We have managed to create a class of intellectual derelicts that really believe they are on to something big. What fools we mortals be.

GOD is because he says that he is. End of discussion case closed. Your limited understanding of GOD and the knowledge and power He possesses is irrelevant in this discussion. Mankind collectively has had a problem with GOD, because He refuses to treat us like babies. He fully expects us to grow up, realize His presence in the this universe we live in, and use the intelligence He has given us.

This incessant whining about GOD and His ultimate purpose for our lives on this planet is no more or less than the infantile ravings of a spoiled child. Just because we aren't zapped with a lightning bolt for our stupid decisions, ideals, ideas and idiotic notions does not mean He is not there or does not care. He told us what to do to have sane, decent and progressive societies and we, collectively have refused to follow His dictates and now reap what we, collectively, have sown.

There is no need to ask the question what GOD or whose GOD? The answer to this question, to the dismay of Muslims, Shintoist, Taoist, Buddhist, Hinduist and whatever else people have decided to believe in, is the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Now, how do you know this without question or doubt in that gray matter you happen to call a brain?

This GOD and the people that believe in this GOD have established the vast majority of the principles for all the technology you are using. The people that believe in this GOD have created the modern world you live in. I challenge anyone, in any place and at any time to disprove this statement. Give me your best shot.

Even if you are an empty-headed liberal intellectualist or a "Secular Humanist", you can lay this question to rest once and for all. How do you know GOD exist?...because you and every human being that has ever lived or will live is absolute and undeniable proof.

Faith Vs Reason

No concept or precept is more misunderstood than faith. Faith can survive without reason, but it is impossible for reason to survive without faith. Every decision an individual makes is based on faith.

What confuses the uninformed is the notion that faith is best expressed or explained within a religious or spiritual context. Why should any intelligent person celebrate a man or woman of reason, when reason, itself, is an expression of faith?

Faith, in it's simplest form, is no more or less than a belief in an outcome. Reason, in its simplest form, is no more or less than the belief in one's ability to exercise sound judgment and make good decisions.

Making a decision is an outcome is it not? Choosing between alternative courses of action is an outcome is it not? Even the absence of reason and rationality is an expression of faith. It is simply negative and unproductive in nature.

What we should be celebrating is the triumph of faith over our individual and collective doubts and fears. Everything men and women do is an expression of faith not reason or rationality. The more educated or learned an individual becomes the more he/she believes he/she is acting with reason and not faith, when the opposite is true.

"Come let us reason together." The famous words of the Apostle Paul. How can any person use his or reason if he or she has no faith? Paul was intelligent enough to realize people everywhere have faith in something. Once the process of reasoning is initiated, it becomes self evident, to the informed and uninformed alike, that what is being discussed is a person's faith in his/her own abilities, capacities, capabilities, talents and knowledge.

Once the process of reasoning is initiated, it also becomes self evident that a person is expressing his/her faith in his/her inability to use his/her mind and intellect. This negative use of faith is the fundamental reason why so many people have self inflicted psychological problems and are virtually incapable of effective living.

Everyday, and in all kinds of ways, without even realizing it, billions of people demonstrate their most basic faith of all. From birth til death and from morning til night, we express our faith in all the unwritten universal laws and principles that govern the operation of this galaxy. Billions of people have little or no knowledge of them or conscious awareness they even exist.

Everyday billions of people walk on the surface of this planet having absolute and undying faith that the earth will continue in its orbit around the sun. We also have faith that gravity will continue to hold our atmosphere in place and keep us and our water supply on the surface. Faith is the cement that holds our fragile lives together.

Liberalistic philosophy has been the scourge of humanity since GOD (YHVH) put us on earth. For all you folks that have a problem with GOD, put a universe in place, then I'll consider your point of view. YHVH is there, whether you know it or not, or believe it or not.

Every great civilization the world has ever known except three, has been severely weakened or has fallen before the liberal horde. Just what is liberalism? In theory and by definition, liberalism sounds great. If you don't believe it, look it up in a good dictionary.

In practice, it has brought more death, destruction and misery than all the wars prior to World World I combined. This incessant philosophy has led to the rise and empowerment of the most brutal, barbaric and blood-thirsty regimes this world has ever known. At it's core liberalism is the belief that mankind can direct its own affairs without GOD.

If liberalism is so dangerous why do so many well educated, wealthy, intelligent and generous people embrace it and gladly wear the label? Liberalism is easily embraced and widely supported by the masses because, on its surface, it seems benign and benevolent.

However, underneath this thin covering is a ravenous beast waiting to be unleashed on an uninformed population. This confusion about liberalism and its murderous and destructive past and its soon to come murderous and destructive future is easily understandable because many believe a reformer or a progressive is a liberal.

Many unsuspecting liberal supporters also associate advocates for change, human rights, decent standards of living, fair trade practices, pollution control, environmental causes, help for the poor, child care, and all the "feel good" political and intellectual positions as liberal causes. They are not. These causes are adopted by liberals because of mass appeal.

Who in their right mind can be against teaching our children reading, writing and arithmetic? It is because of these "feel good"socio -economic causes that liberals have slipped in amongst the true reformers and advocates and masquerade as men and/or women for the cause and for the people.

In actuality, liberals are selfish deceptive individuals that use popular socio-economic issues to solidify their power base and promote their own secret agendas. Once in power, they will plunge the world into chaos and destruction. This is the same method they have been using for thousands of years.

This slide into liberalistic induced annihilation is so gradual and unassuming, so thorough and complete, until the people that are being destroyed rarely recognize ruination is the fate waiting for them. Liberals don't realize it either. Only after it is over, do people ask the all too obvious question: "How did all these well educated and intelligent people let this happen"?

World War I, World II, Adolf Hitler, Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Karl Marx, Mao Tse-tung, Idi Amin Dada, Pol Pot, Pappa Doc, Benito Mussolini, communism, socialism, predatory capitalism, fascism, totalitarianism, satanism and a host of other isms and social malcontents that includes mass murderers like Charles Manson are all products of modern liberalism.

This is important to remember because liberals are gradually moving into power positions through out the world and especially in America. As a nation, we have already moved farther to the social and political left than is reasonable or practical. In time, we will be beyond the point of no return. Let's briefly examine what this insidious philosophy has already given us besides taxation from crib to grave.

In our modern times, liberals masquerade as "Secular Humanist". These "Secular Humanist" have literally transformed our schools into day care centers, social experiments, dysfunctional institutions and a nightmare for our children. They almost destroyed and demoralized our military forces. Our manufacturing base has been gutted and shipped overseas. "Secular Humanist" have relegated millions to the welfare rolls, while turning thriving industrial communities into economic wastelands.

Under the "Secular Humanist" liberalistic agenda, our nation has become a cess pool of illegal drugs, crime, sexual perversion, immorality, deceit, deception, lies, fraud, governmental abuse, corruption and legal thievery. They are doing everything they can to drive GOD from the public arena and out of our collective consciousness.

Remember, at its core liberalism is the belief that mankind can direct its own affairs without GOD. Liberalism, our ancient nemesis, has put America on a downward spiral, from which we may never recover and this does not include the murder of over 40 million babies in abortion factories.

Because of their blunderous and often short-sighted foreign policy decisions, "Secular Humanist" have unwittingly contributed to the birth and growth of the modern terrorist movement. Don't take my word for this, review their sordid record and history for yourselves. Every group and individual that has ever embracedliberalistic philosophy was eventually destroyed by it.

If you are GODLY person and want to save yourself from these seemingly benign and benevolent people, Republican, Democrat or Independent, ask your political candidate one or all of the following questions:

1. "Do you believe mankind can manage its own affairs without GOD"? If your political candidate says, "Yes". You know to end your support for this individual. This individual's personal philosophy and beliefs will be dangerous to you and your family.

2. "Do you believe in GOD?" If the individual says he/she believes in a GOD, or believes in a higher power, spirituality, all religions are the same, or some other empty-headed liberalistic or humanistic reponse; or, does not or can not name for his/her GOD, you are talking to a reprobate that is unstable in all his/her or ways. This person is a real politician and absolutely can not be trusted. This person's finger is always in the air testing the political winds and does not deserve your support or vote.

If the person says, "No". You know you are talking to a fool. It is written: "A fool says in his heart there is no GOD". This person is the most dangerous of all. Definitely, do not support this man or woman or vote for him/her.

If the person says, "Yes", but can not and does not name his/her GOD, you are talking to a reprobate. If "Yes", and denies the power of GOD, you are talking to a liar. This individual is just as dangerous as the fool and is far more likely than not to become a corrupt politician. Definitely, do not support this individual or vote for him/her.

If the person says, "Yes", names his/her GOD and talks about his/her GOD with pride and what principles and/or philosophy guides his/her decision-making process, this is your candidate. Support him/her and vote for him/her.

If the person's GOD is Satan, the Earth or other empty-headed response, you know you are talking to fool.

If your candidate is a known liar and/or reprobate, you know he/she can not be trusted and does not deserve your support or vote. If your candidate evades the question, you have a political grifter. This man/woman is in politics to enrich himself/herself. Do not support or vote for him/her. If your candidate is a true politician, he/she will say or do anything to get elected, do not support or vote for this person.

If you are a reprobate yourself, a liar, immoral, an empty-headed intellectual, humanist or a fool, it does not matter who you support or vote for. However, if you want the best possible candidate, find someone that has some moral and GODLY values. Even a fool should be weary of "Secular Humanists", "Liberals" and their "Liberalism" because they are definitely dangerous to your health.

Are Our Political Leaders, Government Agencies, Public Officials, Corporations & Small Business Owners Aiding and Abetting Criminals?

Aiding and abetting a criminal ( anyone that has violated a statute) { A statute ( a law passed by a legislative body)} is also a crime. Crime (an act in violation of a law).

A law (all the rules of conduct established by the authority or customs of a nation). There are no, ifs, ands or buts, if our political leaders, government agencies, public officials, corporations and small business owners are not following the law, ignoring the or failing to enforce the law, then by definition they are aiding and abetting a criminal element within our country.

If we, as a nation, choose not to enforce our laws or give amnesty to those that violate them, then we are creating, nurturing and developing a culture of crime, violence and lawlessness.

This action, if allowed to go unchecked, would automatically put America on the same path that is turning Mexico and practically all of Central and South America into failed states. Failed states, without exception, have corrupt, self-serving and ineffective government and an entrenched, organized and armed group of people that support them. Leaders in a failed or failing stated are more concerned about themselves, their supporters, and their collective self enrichment than the needs of their people.

Practically all failed states have institutionalized graft, crime and corruption. Laws within these countries protect the influential, the rich and the powerful. Legal thievery is practiced and condoned by government officials. This condition doesn't happen overnight, it takes years. All the values that stabilize a nation are gradually eroded until the entire nation becomes destablized.

Many failing societies have a semblance of stability because people are still working at jobs and there is still some economic actvity. All failed states either lapse into factionalism, or they are eventually controlled by dictators or tyrannical governments that rule by force and intimidation. Surely, you do not want this to happen to America? Americans are too over-confident in our perceived wealth and invincibility. Al-Qaida's attack on 9/11/2001 should have convinced us we are not invulnerable. Superman might be, but we are not.

We keep for getting, we were once on the precipice of becoming a failed state ourselves and fought a bloody civil war to bring us back together as a nation. There are only four elements that hold people together as a nation without force, intimidation, ruthless suppression and violence. They are laws, values, beliefs and economic stability. Begin to erode either one, and any nation or empire will begin to decline.

Because of our failed political leadership, it has reported and estimated that we have 8-12 million undocumented individuals within our borders that have no allegience to our country. Already they are beginning to take advantage of our systems, services, and legal processes. Every American needs to ask himself/herself what happens when the low paying jobs run out? What will these people do if we enter another major recession?

Their very presence is already pushing our crime rate up because they have violated our laws by crossing our borders illegally or violating visa requirements. Could mass riots happen if their basic needs are not met? We need to think about these things seriously and address this issue of illegal immigration with courage and resolve. We have a legitimate and proven legal process. Lets begin to use it.

Colonizing America Vs Illegal Immigration

One of my readers has taken the position that American colonist were illegal immigrants. I'm glad she did. The Europeans that left their countries and came to America were not illegal immigrants. America, as a nation, did not exist at that time. That is precisely why the Puritans, Quakers, Lutherans, Calvinist and others seeking freedom from persecution came here.

No European nation would allow them or any one else to enter their country enmasse without permission. Such an act would be considered an invasion and met with military force. In addition, Protestant beliefs were not acceptable in many European communities.

The Native American nations accepted the settlers until their numbers began to grow. Let's examine the facts. It was the native Americans that began allying themselves with the settlers and colonists in their wars against each other. They had no idea what they were unleashing upon themselves. The rest is history. If the 12 largest tribes had banded together against the settlers from the very beginning, the world's history would be different.

The same is true for Latin America and Liberia. If the native Latin American populations had united against the Spaniards, the history of Latin America might be different. Instead tribal groups within the native population allied themselves with the settlers and colonialist in their wars against each other. They too had no idea what they were unleashing upon themselves.

Liberia suffered the same fate. It took the native Liberians a long time to overthrow the entrenched American families and their corrupt government. Liberia is now in the process of rebuilding after their bloody uprising. They will succeed in their efforts as long as they have honest, dedicated leadership and the people work together as a nation, rather than self-serving and selfish individuals. (See Liberia)

Since huge segments of Latin America's population did not unite and rise up in the very beginning to overthrow their entrenched families and their corrupt governments, they have paid the price.

Americans united in the late 17Th century to overthrow our entrenched families and their corrupt governments. England did the same, France, Germany, Spain and the list goes on. When people fail to unite, to overthrow their tyrants, they bring devastation upon themselves.

Let's fast forward to the present. No government can exist without the support of people. The Cubans that supported Fidel Castro and his revolutionary army rose up and overthrew their corrupt government. Instead of forming a government of honest dedicated leaders, he did the opposite and Cuba has suffered every since.

Millions of Cubans welcomed him with opened arms. Many more did not rise up or demand anything, instead they fled to America and other countries and tried to conduct a clandestine campaign against him from sanctuaries.

The Russians rose up and overthrew the Czar, The Iranians rose up and overthrew the Shah, the Poles rose up and overthrew their corrupt communist government. However, unlike the Russians, the Iranians, and many nations in Latin America that replaced one corrupt government with another one that was just as corrupt, the Poles decided on honest, dedicated leadership and are now a leading country in Eastern Europe.

What makes America what it is...is not our economy. Germany, South Korea, Israel and Japan have similar economies. They are simply smaller nations. Size is not the key. Russia and Canada control more territory. It's not our natural resources. Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru are just as rich in natural resources. It is not our form of government. There are at least 50 "Constitutional Republics" with elected representatives around the world.

Religious beliefs is not the key. All of Mexico, Central and South America, India, and the Islamic Nations are far more religious. It's not our technology. Most of our consumer technology comes from Japan, China and Germany. Chinese and Russian missiles are just as effective as ours. Our culture and customs are not the keys. America, as a nation, doesn't really have a culture, customs or traditions.

In Japan's initial rise to greatness, the UN did not exist. After World War II, the vast majority of the money spent for rebuilding went to Europe, not Japan. The Japanese literally rebuilt Japan themselves . The world has given trillions to Somalia, Haiti, The Dominican Republic and the Palestinians and they are still no better off. We have spent trillions on poverty in America and our minority communities are more poverty stricken today than they were before.

What makes America, any nation, or any group of people what they are...are the people themselves. It's what the people do or do not that makes the difference. I could talk about 100 countries where people are struggling and dying rather than coming together as a group or a nation. The answer is always the same. What makes a nation great are its people and those they choose to govern them and lead them. By default, Latin America chose what is has.

Exposing The Myths About Western Culture

It's about time our schools, colleges and universities stop teaching our children about the triumph of Western Culture. I think it is time, we stop lying to ourselves and to our children. We are victims of our own propaganda.

The reason why Western Culture is a dominating force on planet earth has nothing to do with Western Culture, science or our natural resources and everything to do with GOD (YHVH). For all you folks that have a problem with GOD, put a universe in place; then, I'll consider your point of view.

For centuries westerners went to Egypt and elsewhere to learn and understand the applied sciences. Throughout history you can read about the improbable things that happened so that one group emerged victorious over another. Carthage should have easily defeated the Romans, but they did not. If it were not for unbelievable decisions made by Medo-Persian rulers, the Macedonians would have never defeated the Medes and the Persians.

Athens should have easily defeated the Spartans, but disease struck them down. Even Pericles did not escape this scourge. Alexander the Great died of a mysterious illness. His empire was divided among his 4 generals. Under their leadership, the empire he had conquered eventually collapsed. Egypt should be a major world power today, but it isn't. Two terrible winters in Russia destroyed two armies, the French and the Germans.

The Ottoman-Turks and the Germans should have won World War I with little difficulty, but they didn't. The Germans and the Japanese should have won World War II, but they didn't. America should have defeated the Chinese and North Koreans, but we didn't. We should have easily defeated the Vietminh and theViet Cong, but we didn't. Because of our inability to defeat these two Second World nations, things do not look good for America's long term survival as a major world power.

Throughout history are blunders that are so profound, it is hard to believe that intelligent, well educated people could have made them. I have just given you a snapshot. There are far too many incidents to mention in this blog. However, research in any public library will verify everything I have highlighted about Western Culture in general.

Let's turn to the sciences. 95% of all scientific discovers were made by Jews or Christians, by people living in countries that were friendly to Jews and Christians or dominated by Christians. Without theJudeo-Christian influence, pagan Europeans, Americans, Canadians and all other pagan peoples on planet earth would still be using 18Th century technology.

Whenever Western Culture strayed from its Judeo-Christian principles, Europe became a blood bath. In fact, true Western Culture is a 3,000 year history of betrayal, deceit, treachery, murder and destruction on massive scales. North and South America, the Far East, the Pacific Realm and the Middle East were not spared.

Remove the Judeo-Christian influence and Western Culture would be considered barbaric by any reasonable standard. Every institution from the lowest to the highest, the sciences, our societies, and everything and all things in between have been recipients and beneficiaries of theJudeo-Christain influence.

Our growth and development into something remotely resembling civilization has nothing to do with Western Culture and everything to do with the will of GOD working through the minds of men and women.

My Thoughts On The Death Penalty

The Death Penalty is a legitimate means by which civil society can rid itself of individuals that knowingly and willfully take the lives of others. It is not given to mankind to judge one another.

However; we can, as a society, judge the actions of another human being. If those actions have destroyed a human life, then that life should be destroyed as well and as expeditiously as possible. Why is this so important? The answer: Time.

Time is the enemy of the victim and the ally of the assailant. Time softens impact and weakens resolve. Since the reality of time is such a critical factor when it comes to the use of the death penalty, let me solve this problem for you. The time to exercise our legitimate right to protect ourselves and the lives law abiding citizens is when the acts of the convicted murderer/s are fresh in our collective minds, when the evidence of the horror of the deed has not passed from active consciousness, when the family impacted by an individual or group's barbaric cruelty is still before us.

The primary reason why the death penalty is misconstrued as being ineffective is because of the time it takes to execute a convicted murderer. It is true. Killing the murderer will not bring Sally back, but it will definitely keep Mary from becoming another one of his/her/their victims. It is argued that the death penalty does not deter crime. No it does not and neither do laws. Yet, there is no movement to abolish our legal system or abandon laws that maintain civil society.

Could it be that death by legitimate means is not horrendous enough? Perhaps, if it were, an individual or group of individuals would think twice Before taking the life of another. Could it be that killings that result from crimes of passion occur precisely because there is no horror to consider? Certainly if a man or woman knew he/she would be "Drawn and Quartered" publicly would think twice before murdering his/her spouse or lover. Perhaps, being "Impaled" on a stake might make him/her think twice as well. Maybe the Viking method of "Eagles Wings" when your lungs are ripped out of body while you are still alive, or the tried and true "Guillotine".

We has a society should reserve our sympathy for the victim, not his/her murderer. There are several issues I would like to address in this article such as Manslaughter, Accidental Death, Self Defense, Self Protection, War, Civil Unrest, Violent Revolution, Political Beliefs, Nationalism, Religious Belief, Legal Injustices and a host of others. However, to do so would require a book, not an article. These categories represent other ways humans manage to kill themselves off. Perhaps, we can address these issues in the future; as well as why more prisons and more time in a prison is not the solution.

Our Responsibility To Our Nation

Our duty and responsibility to our nation does not require us to become psychologist. Our duty and responsibility is to demand that our government enforce our immigration laws, because not enforcing them will endanger the lives of thousands. There are no precedents in modern history that support illegal immigration into another sovereign nation.

Let's assume for the purposes of this post, that all illegal immigrants in America came from Mexico. If these 8-12 million people had stayed in Mexico and participated in their own democratic process, they would definitely impact local and national elections.

Mexico is not a poor country. It is one of the richest in the world. The problem with Mexico is not its natural resources, the problem with Mexico is its government leaders and leadership philosophy. Get rid of Mexico's corrupt leadership at every level and the people, the land and the government will really prosper.

Mexico, like Russia, North Korea, Most of Central America, South America, Africa, Thailand, India, and the vast majority of the remaining countries on this planet are not suffering from a lack of human resources or ways and means to generate sustainable economies. These countries have a corrupt leadership philosophy.

The vast majority of these countries suffer from the lack of genuine leadership from their governments, official mismanagement, graft, corruption, greed, influence peddling, class biases, unfair laws, and a host of other ills.

America is slowly, but surely, becoming the same way. If our legislative bodies and the laws they enact are constantly being sold to the highest bidder, we will suffer the same fate and won't be able to blame anyone except ourselves. People are either intimidated by force or knowingly elect the people that govern them.

If our nation falls or succumbs to the same forces that are ravaging and destroying Mexico and other countries around the world, no nation on earth will tolerate the illegal immigration of 8-12 million Americans.

The Immigration Controversy

According to whose statistics you believe, we have 8-12 million people within our borders that are very capable of helping us, hurting us or killing us and we have no idea who they are. America does not have a controversy over immigration.

Let's not get sidetracked. The vast majority of Americans have a problem with illegal immigration. Undocumented immigrants and uncontrolled illegal entry into our country hurt our economy, institutions and services.

Let's go by the numbers, according a published report in the L.A.Times....

40% of all workers in L.A. County ( L.A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card.
95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.
Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking.
In L.A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare.
Over 70% of the United States' annual population growth (and over 90% of California's , Florida's , and New York's ) is from immigration.

Undocumented immigrants also hurt themselves by being outside of our legal system. They rob themselves and their children of respectability. Let me solve this problem for you. Either enforce our laws or repeal them. If our lawmakers repeal them, then open the floodgates and let everyone in (terrorist included). If our legal and law enforcement agencies are going to enforce the law, then do what the law requires. This is very simple and very uncomplicated.

Once the law has been adhered to, we can discuss in an intelligent and forthright manner any extenuating circumstances impacting future citizenship. Not before. This is the essence of true justice. If illegal aliens were sincere in their intentions, they would confess their crime of illegal entry and throw themselves on the mercy and justice of the American people. I'm certain they would find sympathizers.

Such an act would demonstrate sincerity of purpose and a willingness to honor our laws and respect our institutions. In the absence of contrition, regardless of how innocent an undocumented individual's actions and activities may be, we must conclude that they willfully and knowingly choose to ignore our laws and thus disrespect us all. How can an undocumented individual enter our home (country) uninvited, violate our trust, trample the very essence of our sovereignty and then expect us, as a nation, to ignore their abuses and call them friends?

Trust must be earned not given, therefore, how can we ever trust them without just and verifiable acts? If undocumented aliens sincerely wanted our trust and friendship, they would have done the right thing. Even the 9/11 hijackers did that. To my knowledge, before 9/11/2001 not one hijacker committed a crime, major or minor and entered our country legally.

Situational ethics is a dangerous intellectual game. If earning money is our only criteria for citizenship and legality, then every cut throat, thief, murderer, con artist, drug lord, crime boss, corrupt politician and drug smuggler that earns money is a model citizen.

Surely, you nor I want this level of depravity for ourselves, our nation, our society, or for our children. Undocumented individuals must do the right thing by coming forward, leaving voluntarily or we must find them and deport them because we can not play that dangerous game of situational ethics.

The Case For Justice

Is there justice in the world? Absolutely not. Should there be? Absolutely. Why isn't the concept of justice and the truth and spirit of justice practiced more often in the world?

The answer and reason are one and the same. People; and more specifically, the mind-set and ideology of people. We can add to this, the character, personality and nature of a people. The hue and cry for justice has been with mankind since he first appeared on earth.

What justice was there when Able slew his brother Cain? The answer. None. As a society grows and develops, the concept of justice and the codification of justice should be thoroughly ingrained in every human being, but this rarely happens. The need for justice and its practice never changes. Justice is what we all need and need to apply in all our dealings with others. Without justice and a working implementable concept of it, we are no better than beasts clad in modern clothing.

There are numerous reasons why the concept of justice is rarely practiced within our society. Let us begin with ignorance or not knowing. If one does not have a concept of justice or knows what justice means, it is virtually impossible for that person/s to understand the impact of his negative and insensitive actions toward others.

Then, there is the ability to exercise power over others. The more power an individual wields over another the greater his/her propensity to take unfair advantage, oppress, suppress, abuse, injury or even kill. This power can be actual or psychological in nature. Whether real or imagined, the outcome for the victim is the same.

We definitely can not leave out perverse mentality. Individuals afflicted with this corrupt state of mind see themselves as a god figure possessing the power of life or death over other human beings. Far more often than not, the victim suffers severe injury or death.

Political and social expediency are additional reasons why injustice prevails in our world, rather than justice. These opposite sides of the same coin are the breeding grounds for racial and ethnic hostility, Apartheid, segregation, ethnic cleansing, persecution, bigotry, unrestrained nationalism, class biasness and ruthless oppression of innocent peoples. This form of injustice is by far the most deadly. Because of it, millions can be brutalized or destroyed with impunity.

The desire for economic gain or supremacy is another reason why injustice permeates the very fiber of the social order. Legal thievery, unfair wage and labor laws, environmental destruction, illegal taxation, unfair trade practices and even mass murder can be traced to the desire for economic gain.

Finally, radical or fervent religious beliefs. "Killing Fields" are everywhere on this planet. The madness of religious fanaticism is not only well documented, we can see it daily on the evening news. Therefore, who among us can make a case for the concept and the actual practice of justice? The answer: All of us. Everything just covered and to be covered are all the actions or inactions of people. So who is to blame? The answer is always the same..."we the people".

What are "we the people" going to do about making justice a reality in our lives and the cornerstone of human society? The usual...nothing!

The Iraqi Blunder

Now that the Democrats are back in power, or should I say have taken over the Circus called the United States Congress, now is a good time to clear the air on Iraq so we can move forward on this critical issue.

Iraq was a strategic, tactical blunder and political. If anyone can't see this, I don't know what turnip truck dropped you off. The Bush Administration keeps pointing out that America has not been attacked since 9/11.

The fact of the matter is: Al-Qaida has not attacked America because they don't want to or need to. Why should they, when they are achieving their objective in Iraq? Over 3,000 Americans dead, over 20,000 wounded, and some horribly. And...perhaps another 8,000 - 10,000 will be committed to the war effort. If we stay the course without significant policy changes, perhaps 5,000 - 10,000 dead and over 50,000 wounded.

Every dead or wounded American soldier strengthens Al-Qaida and the Jihadist movement. It does not weaken it. The Taliban have not been destroyed or decimated and they are still a significant threat to the peace and stability of Afghanistan. I don't even want to mention the drug problem and others that are still not resolved after 5 years of fighting. To be sure, the training camps are no longer in Afghanistan, they are now in Pakistan.

Why is a Iraq a strategic, tactical and political blunder?

First: It diverted resources and manpower from our primary objective which was, and still is....to kill or capture all those responsible for the horrendous attack on 9/11/2001. As far as I can tell from all the reports I have read, Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaida are still alive and well.

Second: Attacking Iraq destroyed the broad support we had to retaliate against those that actually attacked us. I don't recall a single 9/11 hijacker being from Iraq. I do recall 15 of them being from Saudi Arabia. The actual attack was carried out by an Al-Qaida cell not by members of Saddam's Republican Guard.

We had the moral authority and the legitimate right to pursue them into Pakistan if need be. Plus, the major industrial nations on planet earth would have been with us (Muslim nations ecluded) and that includes Mexico and Canada. Killing or capturing Bin Laden would have done more to deter Saddam Hussein than our invasion and subsequent occupation of Iraq.

A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the worlds greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;

What Are The Great Issues Of Our Time?

I think it's about time that all our political leaders and political advocacy groups wake up and face the true actuality of our situation. The Post War Era is now officially over. What Post War Era? -- World War II.

Europe, Japan and China have re-emerged as major players in the international arena. In a few years, Russia; as a nation, will also re-emerge. The advantages America enjoyed over the rest of the nations on planet earth is gradually eroding. As more nations and peoples fully recover from the devastation of World War II, our future will become even more uncertain and the world; itself, increasingly more dangerous. The reason: There are many old debts that must settled. The settling of these old debts will impact everything we do in America.

Therefore, I caution against "Hot Button" politics and "Issue" driven reactionism. Let's briefly, ask the questions...what are the great issues of our time, nationally and internationally? Let's not do this casually, but bring the greatest minds to bear on discovering and defining these great issues. Surely, a great issue of our time is not increasing the minimum wage. This is "Hot Button" politics at its worst. It will get people to the polls to vote because this is a cheap way for the masses and political demagogues to enrich themselves.

Surely, a great issue of our time is not returning America to Conservative values. What does Conservatism mean to many Americans. It means "Jim Crow" and "Boll Weevil" politics. Corrupt political machines. Second class citizenship for ethnic minorities. The Klu Klux Klan, "Southern Baptist Styled Racism", "Skin Heads" and gangsterism in high office. Surely, no one wants to return to this. At least I don't .

Surely, a great issue of our time is not school vouchers, lean manufacturing, drilling for oil in Alaska, school choice, flat tax or any of the narrowly focused views that drive American politics, which in turn is driving an entire nation of people to the very precipice of obliteration. These "so-called" issues are for the weak minded and the greedy.

The weak-minded because they are incapable of thinking beyond their own selfish needs and the greedy because any good political hack or demagogue can use these weak narrowly focused "so-called" issues to ensure his/her ascent to political power or maintain his/her power base. From power bases, these political hacks hand out favors that will enrich themselves at our expense.

President Bush and his current team have made one blunder after another. Republican Congressional leaders have also made one blunder after another, and the Democrats are also making one blunder after another. These blunders will eventually add up to ruination for our country. The Democrats did not win control of Congress, theRepublicans lost it. Surely, which party controls the keys to Congressional toilets is not a great issue of our time either. If this is the best our Congressional leaders can give us...then we are in trouble.

What does Al-Qaida, Ho Chi Minh and Saddam Hussein have in common? They were once our allies. It seems our government leaders have managed to create a history of turning on former allies.

From the beginning of it's history, theVietnam War was a conflict that could have been avoided if government leaders in Europe had acted responsibly. In fact, all wars are avoidable if leaders acted responsibly. It was precisely because of France's suppression of the rights of the Vietnamese people that eventually bought Ho Chi Minh to power. Believe it or not, all Ho Chi Minh really wanted to be was a chef. He became disillusioned over the hypocrisy he saw in Western governments and embraced communism while living abroad in France.

Let's briefly review the history. Following World War I, on behalf of a group of Vietnamese patriots, Ho Chi Minh petitioned the European powers at the Versailles peace talks for equal rights in French Indochina, but he was ignored. He was rebuffed first by President Woodrow Wilson, when he asked for help to remove the French from his country, and he was rebuffed by President Harry Truman, when he asked him to recognize his government.

It was the French defeat during the Battle of Dien Bien Phu that led to the partitioning of Vietnam into the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the North, under Viet Minh control, and the State of Vietnam in the South. When France left Southeast Asia during 1954, America increased its commitment to South Vietnam which eventually led to the Vietnam War. Americans have forgotten that Ho Chi Minh and the Vietminh were our allies in the Pacific War against Japan during World War II.

It seems our government has habitually turned on many of our former allies for various reasons when they were no longer useful. Our nation has also supported corrupt and tyrannical regimes like the Shah of Iran and Genral Fulgencio Batista y Zaldivar, whose gangster infested, corrupt regime was overthrown by Fidel Castro.

We allied ourselves with Al-Qaida in Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation, with Saddam Hussein during the Iran-Iraq War, with Japan as an allied nation during World War I, with Russia during World War II, the Contras in the 1980s (which led to the Iran-Contra Scandal during the Reagan Administration), with former Nazis after World War II, and Manuel Noriega was once on our payroll working under cover for the CIA. Yes, we Americans have a sordid history when it comes to our former allies. Who will we turn on next?

Perhaps We Need To Use Our Brains

It never ceases to amaze me how so many well educated and intelligent people can be misled so easily. This post is intended to start you thinking about what our government is really doing.

I also want to challenge talk radio listeners, and viewers of cable news shows to use their brains to think deeply about the information they are receiving. If we don't use our brains to think and to examine what we are being told more closely, what fools we mortals be.

First, let's lay the groundwork. Far too often, people confuse possessing great skill or great wealth with having great intelligence. Far too many confuse repeating information with having genuine knowledge and too many of us readily accept opinions as though they are actual facts.

With this understanding in mind, let's begin to re-examine the information we are using to make our decisions. Could it be that we, as a society, are not basing our decisions concerning major political, social and economic issues on real intelligence, genuine knowledge and facts? Is it possible in this day and age with all these information tools at our beck and call that we are still being misled by our elected officials? Is our national government acting in our best interest or someone else's? Is it possible that we have put an entire political apparatus in place that does not have our best interest in mind? The first step in this maturation process is to understand the role and limitations of our information sources.

Since newspapers and news agencies document or report reality and/or actuality, they can only identify who, what, where, when and how. They can rarely tell us why. Even if they could, we have no way of verifying, with any degree of certainty, that what we are being told is the real reason/s behind a person's or group's actions and/or activities. All we have to go on is the reporter's written or verbal statements or what he/she is transmitting to us via television, radio or the Internet.

Even I can't tell you the real reason behind any one's actions or activities. All I can relay to you is what I have read or been told. There is a simple reason for this. It is impossible to be in two places at the exact same moment in real time. Consequently, we have little or no choice but to rely on those that are closest to the actual event. We, as a society, have little or no choice except to rely on our sources of information. Because this is true, we must never, not for a single moment ,forget that these purveyors of information are human beings just like us.

Now, I have written all that to ask these questions. What is the real reason behind our War in Iraq? What are the real reasons behind the policy decisions made by our elected officials? Why didn't the Bush Administration pursue Bin Laden into Pakistan? They certainly had few, if any, qualms about invading Iraq.

Why are the Clintons, both political grifters and opportunist, still visible on our political horizon? Are we that desperate? Why are the Democrats adamantly pursuing Socialism as a national policy? What group or individual is behind the rapid decline of American society? What group or individual is behind the gutting of our national industrial base?

Why do major news programs feel so comfortable spoon feeding us pabulum for the evening news? Is our legislative process for sale or has it been sold already? These are just a few of the questions we need to be asking ourselves and our elected officials. The people we have elected to public can make fools of all of us if we don't use our brains and start really thinking for a change.

Election 2008

Before we start appraising and evaluating candidates for Election 2008, we, as a nation, need to seriously consider what happened to us in 2006 and what is happening to us now in 2007.

A lot can happen between April 2007 and November 2008. Even now the Democrats are flexing their political muscle and passing bills that will be detrimental to all of us. The real losers in the mid-term elections of 2006 are the American People and if we, as a nation, do not get our collective act together in 2008, our days as a great nation are numbered.

Before we start looking forward to 2008, let's do a reality check of what is happening right now in 2007. Within a matter of months after coming to power, the Democrats have returned the U.S. House of Representatives to its former theatrics and the U.S. Senate into a comedy routine.

Did the American voters really put back in power the same party that flaunts its perversions, corruption, immorality, back room, back door, and deceptive legislative practices and its utter contempt for the rule of law? Yes, we did. There are even those among us who are looking gleefully for Democratic victories in 2008 with Obama, Clinton or Edwards at the helm. I shudder at the thought.

Pundits, "so called" experts and Democratic operatives keep telling us that we, the American people, have sent a strong message that we are upset with the Bush Administration and their supposedly mismanagement of the War on Terror.

These pundits and experts are essentially telling us that we, the American people, prefer graft, corruption, perversion, immorality and a gangster operation masquerading as the Democratic Party to lead us; rather than a Republican Party of principles, values, responsible citizenship, low taxes, real leadership and effective government. Well, in theory that's how it was suppose to work.

I don't support failed Republican leadership any more than I support failed Democratic leadership. I don't care for failed leadership of any kind. These times are too dangerous and explosive for that. However, I'm not that far removed from reality to keep the Democrats in control of Congress or have another President from the Democratic Party in 2008. The Democratic record in this country is not only shameful and a dismal failure, it is an absolute atrocity.

It should be as visible as the nose on your face that the Bush Administration and the Republican leadership failed all us. At least President Bush and the Republicans had the guts to stand up and try to do something about our downward spiral.

During the 6 years the Republicans controlled the House and the Senate they did manage to give Congress some level of decency. However, that old adage is still true and few have escaped is intoxicating appeal. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Did the Republicans make mistakes?...Yes. Did the Republican leadership slip into the unforgiving abyss of cover up and corruption?...Without question.

However, unlike their Democratic counterparts that are still harboring an impeached judge from Florida and a suspected criminal from Louisiana in the House of Representatives, elected a dead man to political office, elected a known racist (Byrd) and a glib griftess to the U.S. Senate (Hillary Clinton) and a known philanderer as President (Bill Clinton) and have the unmitigated gall to popularize this man, at least the Republicans try to keep a clean house. What's even more disheartening is millions of Democrats would vote for the griftess and bring back the philanderer.

The Democrats have little or no concept as how to keep their political house clean. The stench from the corruption and chicanery that the Democratically controlled Congress gave us in the past still hangs over this nation like a burial shroud. But, if you stand in a pig pen long enough, you can easily adapt to its foul smell and mounds of filth. What do really have to look forward to in Election 2008? The pig pen of Democratically inspired corruption and mismanagement that liberal voters are so quick to forgive and re-elect to public office.

These are not partisan attacks, they are absolute facts that any reader can verify for himself/herself. To be sure the War in Iraq is no longer popular; but the war against "Radical Islam" is the right war at the right time. It's just in the wrong place. To be sure, the war on terror in Iraq has been horribly mismanaged. But to assume the Democrats can save us from future terrorism is sheer madness. Let's not forget a "Radical Islamic" group called Al-Qaida attacked us on 9/11/2001.

How can Obama, the Clintons or even John Edwards and the rest of America's modern Democratic Party help us win a war against radical Islam? How can they, when they have already made a mess of America. The modern Democratic Party has literally destroyed every value, concept and precept we have ever cherished as a nation.

The modern Democratic Party and its "Secular Humanist" supporters have ruined everything they have touched from education to free trade. It only stands to reason they will ruin the War on Terror and destroy us in the process.

This leads me to the second reality check we, as a nation, need to consider. This reality check is far more insidious than the first one. Vast segments of our population are becoming lawless, petty, polarized, self-serving and selfish in nature. This population group is dragging all of us down to new lows of personal depravity. You can see their influence in everything from the Internet to television commercials and all points in between. Hollywood and cable got in the cess pool years ago.

There is another adage that is well suited for our day and age and it is uniquely suited as an epithet for the 2006 mid-term elections and a "Red Flag" for Election 2008. Every nation of people will eventually end up with a government they deserve. GOD help us all if this ever comes true in America.

NAJAF, Iraq (Reuters) - Thousands of Iraqis streamed to the holy southern city of Najaf on Sunday in response to a call by fiery Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr for a big anti-American protest on Monday.

Sadr, who blames the U.S.-led invasion for Iraq's unrelenting violence, has urged Iraqis to protest on the fourth anniversary of the day American forces swept into central Baghdad.

"In order to end the occupation, you will go out and demonstrate," Sadr, who accuses U.S. forces of deliberately fomenting civil strife in Iraq.

Sadr, who has been keeping a low profile, called on his Mehdi Army militia and Iraqi security forces to stop fighting in the volatile city of Diwaniya and stop playing into the hands of U.S. forces who he said had stirred up civil strife.

What largely began as a Sunni Arab insurgency against U.S. and Iraqi forces following the 2003 invasion of Iraq has since been transformed into a bloody sectarian conflict between Shi'ites and once-dominant Sunni Arabs. Tens of thousands of Iraqis have been killed in the past year alone. More than 3,270 American soldiers have been killed since the U.S.-led invasion.
